Has anyone seen a severe drop in CCP customer service, particularly there response time to “tickets”? I created a ticket back on October 7th and it hasn’t even been looked at…of course, I got the generic auto response, but that is it. In the past I have never gone more than a few days without some sort of update. I even went as far as to put in a ticket regarding my original ticket…same lack of follow up. It was, at least I think it was, a simple mistake during the skins for merch where I purchased x amount of items and I received the appropriate skin, but I was issued the “lesser” skin. Any ways, just curious if anyone else has had this sort of experience with customer service?
Thanks

CCP has customer service??
I believe CCP’s Customer Service was unofficially shut down many years ago…
I don’t remember when it exactly happened, and if I recall correctly, the ‘Official’ Dev Blog said it was being outsourced to a 3rd party which would be managed by CCP…
Anyway, I’ve had actual replies to tickets within a few hours along with other tickets taking weeks to get a reply… It all depends on the ticket category…
Main thing I’ve found is it’s always best to be polite and patient… Also if the first responder GM tries to quickly dismiss the ticket, politely request for it to be escalated to a Senior GM…

If they did contract it out that’s really unfortunate.

No money to pay a customer service department… CCP poor
Pretty sure all tickets are handled by NFT AI… but first you have to play Vanguard for 150 hours and pass a 400 question survey of why you LOVE Vanguard and can’t wait to abandon both of those games for Eve Frontier, even though there’s still literally zero information on what that ‘game’ is really like.
Then, and only then will the CCPGPTNFTAI customer service respond to your plebe support ticket.
@NorCal_SewerRat Do games really have customer service? I would have never thought that gaming was such a big business as to have that.
Maybe they have Swiss bank accounts too?

I’m sure they do. Gaming is a multi-billion dollar industry… but they piss about replacing a 300M-isk mining ship. Talk about tightwads…

I worked for a “third party” customer service company for two years.
Their priorities are different from the clients’ (CCP in this case). Especially quality/proper resolutions.
Yes. The client doesn’t want to spend the money and they want more money.
That’s what you get when two greedy capitalistic companies get together, total dissonance
