CCP Games is now Fenris Productions

Sad is not willing to play a game. Yet think an opinion should even be respected. Sad is trying to pass off an ill informed opinion. How can it be anything else as you have not ever undocked once. As though you were in possession of knowledge that no one else has.

And I have asked multiple times to get the response of if, ‘you do not know, I am not telling you’.

Which means either you are lying or a dev is breaching their NDA. In which case that does become a matter of great concern. As history has demonstrated that if a dev is breaching their NDA. That dev name should be reported and known. As breaching that NDA is not something to be taken lightly.

That NDA is the contract that players, such as yourself, can not gain or have an unfair advantage. Playing or not. if a dev ius

That NDA is the contract that players, such as yourself, can not gain or have an unfair advantage. Playing or not. If a dev is feeding information. That is an unfair advantage. As recent history has shown that such a dev has swung things in a player(s) favor. Which is not just unfair, but is a serious breach of trust.

And my reputation, such as it is, does me no harm in seeking out a truth. As I have never been all that concerned about my reputation. As my actions speak as to what kind of player I am in any game I am in.

The CCP devs are always informed select friends, nothing new in that. Them starting to cal themselves FC Devs isn’t going to change anything but letters used when mentioning the problem.

The only exception is when the players dictate to the devs how to make the players richer (fx some specific ore changes were publicly announced at fanfest to have come this route). In these cases it is the select few friends that inform the devs and no leaking of information is required.

What do you mean, ganking inverted?

Are you saying people should be killing miners in null sec before reinforcements arrive, instead of in high sec?

Because this already happens. Except in null sec the reinforcements require player effort and are likely slower than CONCORD and not invincible either.

Or did I misunderstand what you mean?

shrugs

I’d be willing to give the Orca some sort of PANIC-module like the Rorq’s in exchange for removing CONCORD from highsec. Player response fleets is player activity, and the more player activity we have, the better. No more omniscient NPC police, have miners organise into corps to defend their fleets, and make room for an alternative solution where mercenary corps fill the role of a police force instead, where a mining fleet can hit their PANIC module, pay the mercs to protect them, and then have the mercs handle the job of defending them.

It’s my fault I was too literal, I meant it like the good stuff should be going into NS kill the bright stuff, or acquire the best goods.

Right now it works only for resource acquisition. I mean the priority of the game is totally inverted. In a silly theme park I understand, everybody goes to the capital, there’s no player housing or private hubs.

But in EVE there is, and yet people still pile in HS. Uta had a point, the only point of NS is amassing even more resources that in the end, ends (sorry for that) in HS.

At least I imagined more politics involved, some black market, or stuff. The only thing people do is farm and haul, farm and haul. In a sense, NS and LS are working for HS.

Ganking was a terrible simplification from my part. I was lazy to write that.

Its been the definition of the game since it started in 2003. You’d know that if you’d ever undocked !

Seriously…I get more common sense and honesty arguing with flat earthers. Your rants posts are just deluded, dishonest, and evasive. For someone who admits to never having undocked, you are way too full of yourself.

You clearly haven’t a clue what you are babbling on about.

EVE University describes EVE as ’ a PvP heavy game’ EVE University Wiki

EVE Online’s own Youtube channel contains a ‘Beginners Guide To PvP’

Countless other sites describe EVE as a PvP game.

The only deluded person in the entire universe who thinks EVE isn’t a PvP game is you. Which makes you an utterly irrelevant minority of one.

Stop spitting out these propaganda that was never true in 20 years…

You are so entitled with this crap one could really think you believe it beside the facts of the game…

25% CAN NEVER BE something that defines a game…minority never beats majority in that…

And those are fc’s own numbers from 3 years ago…the reality will be much worse for your agenda…

Have a happy ragequit…

Nah…the only entitled person I see is a grumpy and irrelevant little Rumplestiltskin jumping up and down and flailing about with lies and dishonesty because everyone can see how deluded he is.

Welcome to utter irrelevancy. Nobody cares about your silly little attempts at feigning inside knowledge. Nobody cares whether you like PvP in EVE or not.

Can I have all your stuff ? Oh…wait…you never undocked so you don’t have any.

And in truth I would be sitting in those siege gate camps as well.

I think @Uta_Asmai is being literal, he never undock with his alt. At this point it is clear he’s using this alt only to cause chaos on forums, which I do not condemn in any shape or form.

That said, I wonder if he’s being sarcastic or just expressing his alter ego he can’t on his main.

Back to the topic proposed, not only @Gloria_Exercitus is right, it’s clear old CCP let HS get too much leeway, they way I wrote my post is to show people sovereignty was supposed to be more than just farm, why work so hard to haul everything to Jita?

Having resources and special ships is a war advantage… But I guess the company lost it’s hand and it became this hybrid which is hard to define.

One thing for sure, ratting all day just to haul stuff to Jita does not seem like sovereignty, your mileage may vary.

All said, I don’t mean like I’m “aggressing” someones view, I’m kind attacking the design. I believe, the original was to NS be the endgame, not to sit in HS. Maybe CONCORD was supposed to be an enforcer for people that are starting or couldn’t adapt or just got evicted…

For me, it does not sum up. I don’t see any benefit in NS over getting rich, but that would bring us to the beginning, rich for what? Like Uta put it, to do a rats race… See above for explanation in case you got caught in the recursion, it seems to be cycling for 20y, lol.

And don’t mind me, I’m bored. Just play the game.

Should You Start / Or Return To EVE Online in 2026?

This is one of several reasons why I choose to play this game. The sheer scope is simply awesome. Because even my small role in this game. I have helped a corporation defend itself, by being the filthy arms dealer I am. And as I grow my BP library and focus more on manufacturing and building ships and eventually build stations. To be honest I wanted to do exploration, but have found that I trend more towards this side of eve. Even as I still do Station Trading at the same time.

A little known fact that even I had not realised…from Google AI

Understanding EVE Destruction Statistics

  • PvE Ship Loss: PvE activities (like ratting or missions) rarely result in player ship destruction; when a PvE ship does die to an NPC, it is statistically negligible compared to player-driven loss. [1, 2]
  • The Economy Driver: Because ship loss is permanent in EVE, almost all recorded market destruction is caused by PvP—ranging from massive null-sec fleet wars and wormhole brawls to high-sec suicide ganks

So…player ships destroyed by PvE is almost negligible. NPC ships destroyed by PvE is not a sink at all as the NPC ships are generated ‘on the fly’. So the ONLY real ISK sink in EVE is PvP. And as it is that sink that drives the entire EVE economy…people such as Uta Asmai have to be truly deluded to argue EVE is not a PvP game.

I’ve always argued ( and I’m not the only one ) that NPC strength in null should scale up so that massive blocs can’t just sit back and lord it over vast sections because no player group has the strength to fight them. There should be a certain level of combat requirement…and if players are not providing it then NPCs should. Nobody should be resting on their laurels.

Still trying to sell self created nonsense while the reality of the game changes right before your eyes?

Pathetic that you ignore it and instead keep 2010 alive in your mind…

This will not work because you cannot just put your hand over your ears and eyes and mouth and pretend not to see or hear or talk like the three apes…you don’t have enough hands for that

PVP in high has to go regardless what you spit out and this is good news for the game.

Seems to me YOU never have undocked since 2010…the game has already changed and Exordium was just the beginning…

Have a happy ragequit…

Nobody cares…

The reality of the game changes since the new devs took over and your rants will not change an inch about it…

PVP never was the driving force of the game, it is a 25% minority…nobody beside the gankers would even remotely see it as a real problem if pvp vanishes from high, most will not even notice it…that’s the bottom line…2/3 of the game still would have pvp and this is your problem you blow up this big?

REALLY?

Making mountains out of molehills?

I wish you a happy ragequit…

You think and are not good at it…that’s the problem about this ranting post…

Happy ragequit to you too…

You remind me of that episode of the original Star Trek where the all-powerful beings turned out to be tiny little insectoids.

What new devs? Any new devs that joined have been previous nullbears. Hellmar has been on the reighns since forever.
