In case you still haven’t grasped this, here’s a rerun: the pcu drop at this moment is due to veterans leaving, or at least unsubbing/unplexing multiple accounts. If CCP needs to change anything it is to do some very intense soul searching about the past 3 years of changes to the game. IF they are in ‘your’ camp, haven’t done their soul searching yet or don’t even question their obvious hubris, or climb the apex of bad leadership with “we won’t make individuals responsible, we as a company are responsible”, the game will die regardless. We are way past the band aid stage. As the company doesn’t have a good record on soul searching, the only thing that may remedy the situation is an audit by their overlords with PA. Sad (as I doubt anyone within PA understands this unique game) but true (given CCP’s procrastinating the inevitable).

One player has join my corporation recently wanting to be a ganker and if I can teach him. Gotta say he is terrible, he is losing ships here and there not able to gank absolutely anything, he is giving free kills to AG. And he seems to be unable to learn.
How is that possible if ganking is easy? I suppose he is a troll who joined me only to mess my killboard. Yeah, that is the only logical conclusion

Looking for some players to answer a few deposition questions about this game and online bullying. Preparing a lawsuit for the unlawful way they allow bullies to grief and harass players against many international online laws. PVP should only be optional and via consent period or it constitutes cyber bullying and real life harassment.

The effort in ganking isn’t at the point of the gank itself - that part comes down to RNG + n+1 for results. The effort in ganking is in the preparation and depends on the purpose…
For example; groups going after freighters for profit have more than a bit of coordination involved whereas solo salt-gathering hunters such as myself go through many, many systems (because some folks are paying attention, you know) reading the situation through D-scan, looking for the marks.
Just because you don’t know what is involved doesn’t mean it’s all “easy”. Yeah, by the time the blasters are about to caress you gently is not where the effort in ganking is. Gudfites are not for the ganking gig, harvesting beautiful, beatifult salt is. Gudfites are gotten elsewhere.
