The main reason is what I detailed, not to say that those other reasons were not part of their reasoning, but the reason for doing it was as I stated.
Also it made the hunting of people moving their supers and titans around more of an active hunt instead of ah watch list, log on alt in HIC at site of log out point of said super or titan. And like so many things sorted out the wheat from the chaff in terms of players with real ability or not!
I’m not going to disagree with that, killing it to make hunting supers harder was fine, that it disembowelled the groups that used it to actively hunt others in a more “controlled” area of space is what I have issues with.

Try not to be disingenuous about it please, the reason I have stated is the main reason period, you omitted it to do what, look smart, upset people, I don’t know why, because you perhaps made yourself look foolish. And I am not trying to have a dig at you for it.
The simple thing is that we agree that CCP did it without doing something to compensate for hisec war deckers and everyone knows that it hurt people who did hunting wardecs in hisecs. Now perhaps they felt it would make it easier for people to operate under war decs and that would help causal players in hisec, but of course they would never admit to that would they? They would have to blame people whining and not their own whining at the loss of casual hisec players.
I agreed when in the war dec discord that something needed to be added to help hunting and I agree with Ralph’s statement above when he said it needed something, but it did not need to be as good as the watch list, too damn right.
After I left the war dec discord CCP changed the chat channels and now you show up in the global chat channes such as AG chat channel. I know that certain smart war deckers who hunt, Mr Kane for one, use that. So CCP gave something back, not as good but it is there, this relies on people being ignorant or not caring but the onus is on you to find out about your prey and use it.

they’re literally the only reason it happened. risk-averse safebears. the same that want cloaky camping removed. how ironic 
same for the suspect timer for structures that aren’t yours.
that happened because Jin’Taan got a citadel stolen.
it had happened literally hundreds if not thousands of time prior to that one incident, and it wasn’t in CCP’s sights until that one citadel got stolen

Yeah that is absolutely great. Used that in my little war against dryson. But it’s less me being smart and more dryson being … dryson. He would never even think of that being a problem. And if he reads this he will created a post about why CCP does not police the ag channel for ganker alts or something

It is doable, however smart players should be more difficult to pin down, for example if I was in hisec and I got a war dec I would leave all the channels I was in apart from controlled ones and of course my alliance and corp ones. So being smarter made it more difficult for people to hunt me. That is really what I try to point out to people in terms of intel which is too good like the watch list. It obviously words and you can even trick people to joining channels if you want to get really smart.
