Ccp response needed. whats being done to lower plex prices

Do your own homework.

Its your homework, Salvos.
If you can provide even basic data to support your hypothesis, then what meaning does your theory have?

Im not lifting one finger to do your googling for you.
Its not my responsibility to educate you.

Ok, so you are admitting you dont know what its called, this thing?
Im not even asking for you to google it, Im asking what its called.

You dont seem to be able to answer even the most basic questions, so why should anyone take what you are saying seriously, least of all CCP?

Stay on topic, as you are so fond of saying.

No. You are the one admitting you dont know what its called.

I dont know what its called, which is why Im asking you who claims to know!

And Im telling you, for the third time, to do your own homework.

Given I dont even know its name, I cant, so do you want to support your own argument and tell me, or does anyone reading this simply assume you made it up?

Really, because that appears to be your tone to everyone when you post.

Each comment on any subject is about how you know more than anyone, especially when experts in the field like Teckos show up.

You actually are just making this up as you go along, and are unable to provide any actual data to back up anything you say.

You have nothing and this exchange pretty much proves that.

Feel free to have a wee rant at me, because it wont be responded to, you silly little man.

Sadly, no CCP response here :frowning:

Why would they? They can’t make people sell their stockpiled PLEX or force them to ask less. How many trillions of ISK are added to the economy every month? More and more people have more liquid ISK they can spend on a luxury like PLEX. Sure, you may occasionally see a slight down spike when there’s a sale or something, but there’s no reason to believe PLEX prices will ever trend down.

Nice. I approve.

Yes, it was given out in both the Rogue Swarm Alert in June and Welcome to the Agency in July. It will not likely be a reward that we give out using the Live Events system again any time soon. It was not a reward that drove participation because the amounts we would need to give out would have to be much higher. Unfortunately we can’t drop or give it out in any quantity that is desirable without cutting into our sales. At that point, it is likely that we would just be reducing our sales, not reducing the price of the PLEX on the market.

We might test it in an event as a drop at some point rather than a reward, but it’s not likely since we have a lot of other options for rewards and drops to use instead.

you mispelled “Salvos gets answered”. Just saying.

BTW people told me they got plex as rewards in the discovery.

This, definitely. Someone is used to be over aggressive, so he doesn’t realize when his attitude is not fit to a discussion nor to his own education.

Correct. PLEX can be received through Project Discovery. I did not work on that but it seems a bit out of place.

I want to specify that “not using PLEX as a reward” is only for Live Events. I am not saying we’ll never give it out. It’s just having PLEX in the Live Events reward track is not part of our plans at the moment.

I remember when PLEX were easy to buy in game for around 200mil, now they are more than 6x that amount yet they still sell.

Are Buddy PLEX, Project Discovery PLEX and Reward/Event PLEX sourced from confiscated PLEX?

Just to focus on some key parts:

without cutting into our sales

we would just be reducing our sales, not reducing the price of the PLEX on the market.

You are too fast into the shortcuts.
Just because it seems obvious to you, doesn’t mean you are right.

The point is we have a Dev finally responding and saying: giving out the amount of PLEX salvos is talking about will reduce CCP’s PLEX sales…which is what Salvos is either worried about or won’t happen depending on which of his two theories one is currently subscribing too. This point was made about 1,400 posts back.
