CCP screws everyone but big nullsec cartels

Of course I’m not telling you what you like or dislike, prefer or not prefer. But I personally was somewhat amazed that someone would put forth the time and energy to make a video and speak their views to the camera, and I enjoyed watching and listening to it (irrespective of whether I agreed or disagreed).

I will also say that he did a good job of making his in-game character look somewhat like his real life character… if that is what he was trying to do.

EDIT: Holy cow. I’m not a smoker personally, but attacking the guy that viscously over smoking was a bit too much. Don’t you ever watch movies where the characters smoke? Was this so different?

I understand you perfectly. You want a change. I’m still asking you why it needs it.

Why does local in null-sec need to be different from high- and low-sec?
Why does it need no insurance in null-sec?
Why does it need no asset safety in null-sec?
Why does it need no watchlist in null-sec?

Your answer: to make it harder.

Why does it need to be harder?

You plea to be understood. That’s understandable, but just not a good answer to why it needs these changes.

To fix the risk/reward quotient in Player NS, such that it is player determined, and not by systemic security/safety mechanics, as befitting of the sector with highest player autonomy, with highest rewards, as weighed against lack of systemic security/safety mechanics elsewhere.

If you want intel? Use scouts.
If you want Citadel asset security? Defend it.
If you want Insurance? Make SRP program.

What’s wrong with it?

/facepalm.

What did I just say above?

If I can interject;

I get you are saying it should be riskier, but even if that comes at the cost of making it less likely that new people will go there?

Sorry, this back and forth was starting to make me itch.

Why so?

There are means to mitigate the added risk, if players do so, per my proposal.

The rewards of Player NS remain unchanged, and will always be an incentive.

I’m asking you to explain what exactly is wrong with it.

Yeah I get that too, I think the point that Mr Hound is trying to make though (and he will correct me if Im wrong) is that the harder it will be for everyone there, so new people will have a harder time without being entrenched already, if that makes sense?

I already have, time and time again.

Whats wrong with it, is systemic safety/security mechanics that can be, and should be, supplanted via player action in Player NS.

CCP has coddled Player NS with systems that are identical to HS, its polar opposite, when instead they should be removed in Player NS, and players fulfill the function that such systemic security/safety offers elsewhere.

Delayed Local can be mitigated by scouts.
Asset Safety can be mitigated by defending Citadels.
Insurance can be handled by SRP programs.

Why is this wrong? Why should it be different?

That moat needs some FAX support and a cyno

Lol u kids still at this I see

Why should Player NS have the same safety/security mechanics as HS, its polar opposite?

Salvos, have you ever actually lived in null-sec? ever tried it as part of a small group instead of one of the mega alliances? because everything you’ve been saying sounds like you don’t actually have experience with it. (and if its so easy, and the risk/rewards are so broken, then why don’t you live there now?)

I’m asking you. You want this change. So you should be able to explain why it needs it.

If you cannot explain it then it has no explanation and without an explanation is it a meaningless and pointless suggestion.

So you’ll have to explain why or all you have is a wish and an opinion.

This is another weak bait, to pursue the person, not the topic.
Ima tried it earlier. It wont work, and I wont bite.

I have explained it, repeatedly, above.

Your strategy now seems to be to repeat a question that was already answered, over and over.

What you are doing, is beginning to border on spam.

No, you haven’t. You still need to explain why players in null-sec should not have the same basic features that all players get to enjoy.

You’ve now called it polar, but EVE isn’t black’n’white. But even if it were does it not explain why white needs to be more white or why black needs to be more black, when you think it’s already black’n’white.
