CCP selling special edition assets for $

Sigh. The data point is part of the trend…which has been upwards. You disingenuously present it as if the 36,000 may have been a one day blip, but in fact it is not some rare outlier at all.

Agreed, i just posted a related topic about the rerelase of the gold pod, they should make new stuff rather than release them as “exclusive” and then re release them when they feel like it.

You’d as well argue with flat earthers than with those who only see it if the graph goes down but never see it when it goes up.

For some people the glass is always half empty.

Here we go

Yeah if you pick a really narrow time window it’s indeed upwards. If you zoom out it isn’t. See graph above.

Btw, the absolute heights on that graph was from a time when there wasn’t free2play alpha accounts. That is actually crazy if you think about it.

The glass is full of pay2win trash

Today 33k players. Not bad at all. The numbers I’ve been seeing for the past 4 months are very encouraging.

Did you just mess up your alt posting again?

I won’t make fun of you as it seems English is your second language. Though as far as I know every language puts understanding context and syntax as important, so there’s that.

Nah it’s right there. In the open.

Nailed it.

Gotta love it when people seem to think just typing the words ‘nailed it’ actually nails anything. Its the poor man’s substitute for actually having a point to make.

I don’t know where you are looking but I very rarely see numbers above 26k and I’m on EVE time.

Plus you can bet that a large chunk of those numbers are alts rather than a single unique player log in.

Then you can water those down if you like with Alpha clones so that the pool of players paying cash to CCP is probably shrinking on a monthly basis, which will account for increased monetisation targeting existing players.

Good job, CCP. Keep it up !

Why does the new born player chart seem to tell a different story?
image

It doesn’t tell much of any story. The effect on ‘newplayers’ (not sure what that is, accounts or characters), seems to be minor. Some of that due to the new expansion, some due to “down the rabbit hole” perhaps, some for a week of free omega, vets returning for zarzakh, for shenanigans in the north in nullsec ? At least it’s not dropping. I’d rather be interested in retention rate changes, and omega status, but those are not public of course.

I believe subscription numbers are public because CCP/that korean company that owns CCP disclose them in shareholder meetings

Oh God the gankers did it to the newborns!
