CCP Totally Failed it's Hsec players

Yes, the three people here struggling to understand your pithy and emotional posts are all definitely having the problem of “communicating an idea clearly”.

So you just have a bad judge of character and choose to be hostile towards those who tend to be more helpful and trusting of those who seek to extort you.

Some people are excellent players, and some people are excellent payers.

„I gotta tell the whole world I am quitting this game“ is not an opinion, just a declaration.

Ok. Goodbye!

I’m still curious what an extortion corp is. You know if you just explained what happened we could probably give you advice to get out of it and ensure it never happened again. Basically calling everyone who talks to you an idiot isn’t gonna help though.

So I assume you’re talking about safety and their mining permits? Do you want actual helpful advice about what they are and how to never have to think about them again?

Pre bookmark belts, Higgs rig mine, stay aligned to station, set scouts and their ilk to Terrible Standing, actively be at the keyboard and D scan at all times, don’t mine near Jita, and there you go. No more extortion.

Main thing is to move away from Jita or other highly trafficked space. There are a few thousand other systems that are still high sec.

@Cerius_Jevek Those are the answers, and the make it even more easy if you just follow the rule of not mining within 10 jumps of Jita you will get rid of 98% of it. And if you just want to be a hi sec miner then go for it. But honestly, the people who really stick with Eve and get a lot out of it have a different approach.

I mean, doesn’t that make you mad? Some nerds telling you that you can’t do something? It’s as much your space as theirs. Why take that from them? Do something about it! Fight back, be a nuisance! Don’t be just another nameless player that drifts through, thinks it’s unfair, complains and then wanders away. Interact with the universe and bend it to your will, that’s why we are here.

Rather than grasping that your 28 killboard losses and 6bn in loss are entirely your own fault, you blame the game. Even a casual glance of your most recent loss shows you haven’t a clue how to fit a ship…even after a year of play. You are wasting slots fitting both shield and armour tank. And light missile launchers ? You can get far more DPS out of a battleship with lasers, railguns, etc. And how on Earth do you manage to make a Gnosis cost 130m ISK ? You can fit a good T2 fiited one for 60m or so.

High sec is not supposed to be a place for new players to get their footing, The handful of Rookie systems are for that, where you can actually be banned for griefing newbros. High sec (a few thousand systems) is just where CONCORD will respond to criminals after they commit crimes. It’s not a safety rating.

If you are in Amarr space, I would seek area away from the Amarr system itself and the trade route that leads towards Hek/Rens. Kor-Azor, Kador, Khanid are all out of the way.

Well maybe you should…as that’s precisely how you can see what you fitted and where the fitting was wrong. With very few exceptions, the general rule is not to fit both shield and armour tank. You could probably have got more tank just using two shield extenders and a multispectrum shield hardener.

Nowhere in your history do I see anything like on your KB. Your first loss seems to be a 1.1 bill Thunderchild equipped with a 250mm Gauss gun in lo sec. I don’t even know what to say about that other than that you clearly bought a ship you didn’t understand.

You lost an exhumer to a Wolf in a .9, which tells me you weren’t ganked but probably didn’t understand how suspect status works or didn’t know how war decs work. Couple more ships in low sec which makes sense and then a gnosis to a war dec. So I think the common theme is maybe an incomplete understanding of the game. You aren’t getting ganked, you are getting war decc’d and no one in your corp is explaining why that is or how to prevent it.

10 jumps is too close

Well it sounds like you have the answers to your problems. Owning a structure opens you to wardecs. In hi sec, you will lose it if you can’t defend it. You tried to undercut another player, he eliminated the competition. That’s the literal essence of eve. I am in my own corp for tax purposes as well. I have a structure up and open for war decs. I might lose it, I might not. That’s the game. Getting war decc’d by SRS is very common around Amarr. It sounds like you need a better corp to help you along, maybe try the recruitment channel in this very forum. None of what you have experienced is CCPs fault. You are crazy defensive for basically no reason.

Whats with all this post deleted spam?

Having a tantrum baby?

Again, defensive for no reason. Have I been anything other than polite and helpful?

During my 3788 days in High-Sec I was ganked 0 times.
My ship was destroyed several times though:
1 when I went to explore Low-Sec in a Catalyst;
1 when FOB was introduced and NPC web/scram’d me so I couldnt escape;
1 when I tried Atomic mission;
Only thing I can admit CCP failed me is when they TOOK MY JOB Omber from High-Sec.
Other than that, its fine, they reimbursed my Mackinaw and they restored control of my account when I lost access to gmail. They’re ok.

@Destiny_Corrupted Are you still playing? Where did you go and are you coming back?
