The rather long and tedious chatgpt-generated opening post appears to assume that the future of EVE frontier has a major impact on EVE.
Why do you think that?
As far as I can tell it’s a new experiment, a toy for Hilmar and paid for by blockchain investors. If it eventually dies I don’t see how that has impact on EVE.
Yes AI is a toy, I posted this chat over in the AI music contest thread. I think it has a use, but everyone here knows the goal of many nations today. The rich want to replace people with AI, robots, and eventually sex toys. Does this sound paranoid of me? Then ask yourself why most humanoid robots ( androids ) are young females? Why do we need robots in human form at all? Why is the US and other countries dumping billions into AI development? I can assure you it is not to benefit mankind.
You will need to contact PepsiCo and get them to manufacture the bag. I don’t recommend using large bags tacked to your living room walls. The tacks will penetrate the skin making it noneffective. Take an oxygen cylinder or two into the bag for air. You will also need a LED light. I hope you enjoy your new private living space.
Just ignore the resident trolls trying to defend the fact that Pearl Abyss has destroyed this game by stealing it away from the players to put a financial squeeze on it… It all started with stealing the “premium” skins away from being player rewards to monetize them in the store… Now they have started to monetize the ships away from the players which is what they heve been chomping at the bit to do… Then they created the SKINR money-gouging scheme that should have been player-generated and in line with the rest of the game, but it was all about pure greed for these people… What has been done to this game has been a crying shame…and I don’t blame any player for saying “screw this greedy BS” and walking away from it…
I can understand the feeling, especially after so many cancelled projects and also failed products. But let’s give our support on this one.
I have played both games already (vanguard and frontier) and they have potential, they need to shape a lot of things, but if they learn from the mistakes they have done, they can have multiple games based in the same universe, and the only company that took a lot of profit from it was blizzard when they were the golden company 20 years ago.
For you alone, I’ll break my usual operational rule of silence until the one-month mark — and respond immediately, but only once.
You ask me to specify which game I’m referring to. Please remind me: what forum are you on?
Perhaps your drive to be recognized is interfering with your ability to recognize context.
ARM — Active Recognition Mechanism: used when interference is identified and cut. SHD — Shadow Defense: used when reputational presence is challenged by false positioning.
This is EVE Online. The pattern is EVE’s. If that’s unclear, the confusion isn’t mine.
I am aware, which is why I am specifically asking him to elaborate on a portion of “his” post where the LLM is feigning experience and authority that it doesn’t actually have and can’t effectively elaborate upon. It’s also (obviously) why I received a condescending word-salad in response instead of the names of these other games.
It’s just a stupid person’s idea of what a smart person sounds like.
Directly, it has no impact, however, indirectly it does get added to the pile of failed products CCP has created, future investors will look at that negatively and it also impacts PA’s ability to sell CCP in the future which could lead to the studio being gutted for assets and resources over just selling the whole thing intact to a new owner
