Oh so when I pressed jump and 40 mins later was back in the origin system with extra titan in hangar that’s what you mean server tick blah blah?
Gtfo again lmao. You have no idea what you are talking about minus one specific scenario.
I feel like you have a fundamental misunderstanding of force projection in Eve as it s now vs how it’s been in the past.
I remember several years where I had the map open most the time, watching for cyno chains to light up from the various corners of the galaxy because someone somewhere dropped a handful of dreads. And a time when 9 out of 10 ships coming through a gate had a cyno fit with a titan bridge on the other side, usually full of T3C’s.
The issue isn’t so much about the ability to move anymore as fatigue does a decent job of limiting that. It’s about lack of conflict motivators, penalties, and methodology for people to have reason to stay in those smaller groups. If I can have 100 dudes in a fleet, or 150 dudes in a fleet and it doesn’t cost me anymore… why wouldn’t I? Conversely if I can have 100 dudes there to help save me if I get caught, vs 150 dudes… why not?
Better be a conscious idiot than a completely clueless sheep.
Then I’d recommend you work on being conscious to anything about how this game works.
Anyone with 2 brain cells would have told you the server was going to take a dump if anyone tried to YOLO thousands of dudes into thousands of dudes, no matter what ticker they had next to their alliance. I’ve been around this game for 10ish years and NEVER in that time have I seen anyone do something so stupid as what was done in M2.
No doy gives a shot about your scenario.
I’m talking about Sever performance from post 1.
Go start another thread somewhere.
Trying to hide facts with some personal kumbaya opinion does nothing but show you have no ability to comprehend the absolute foundations of (even) common sense. = you have none.
Plans are worth nothing if the principles are not right, and you cant count on server stability when there is so many peeps, that is why the plans that use that to their advantage always will succeed!

Oh no, someone whinging on the forum because they did a dumb told me I have no common sense yet they tried to exceed the previous ‘largest battle’ by several thousand people all in one go and expected some other result than the server not being able to cope with it… whatever shall I do.
If you wanted to talk about server performance and not sound like an angsty teen, you wouldn’t have started it with ‘CCP you failed again.’
CCP didn’t fail, you did. Suck it up, accept it was a stupid move, stop whinging, and then we can talk about where/what the server was capable of a few years ago, what it can do now, and what’s restricting it from doing better in the future. Dude, no one is ‘happy’ the fight didn’t happen. Everyone wanted another massive Titan brawl. But stop blaming CCP because you did the dumb.
Lmao
Again. Nobody cares what you think and what is your accepted level of eat ■■■■.
Basic facts and common sense to anybody with more than 1 brain cell mean that rules are known in advance so that people KNOW and can actually plan knowing the borders of can/can’t do instead of having to hope for the best because ultimately NOBODY but CCP knows what is the breaking point. Though personally I think that at this point they really don’t know it either. Just a ballpark.
If you think you know that value then you’re even dumber than you seem to be.
Thats a lie
You ok are correct.
Poor choice of words on my end.
I don’t care about his point of view that relies on esoteric and anecdotal data.
Again, you open your mouth and RAM YOUR WHOLE LEG IN IT.
RULES of large scale battles that have been a thing in this game for years:
- Plan ahead
- show up early because it’s gonna get laggy and the server is gonna start acting up
- if it’s acting up too bad, don’t YOLO your super fleet into it. Give up the objective
4)Oh no, bubbles are an undefeatable barrier that prevents you from doing anyt… wait, you got a cyno in so you could Yeet your supers in? So you can get ships in system, got it, so it’s just poor planning and laziness on your part. - Dictors die. A lot.
- Potato mode saves lives
- Dreads suck in tidi
- drones wreck the tidi gauge too
- Fax meat shields are best shields
… come on, dude.
Where the heck this imaginary state of being came about that you should just be able to log in an hour before the timer and just jump in no problems… that’s a Low energy, low IQ play right there. And it’s a cop out excuse that for this one fight, and this one fight only, CCP randomly magicked in a hard system cap when they’ve NEVER done that in the past, ever.
I never claimed to know the number. No one did. What we know is that the server doesn’t always perform the same, but generally that number that things start breaking tends to be around 4-5k. Some weapons and doctrines break it faster than others. You wanna say ‘Hey CCP, It really sucked that the server couldn’t handle the fight and we all got robbed…’ Hey, I’m right there with you 150%.
But when you say ‘CCP YOU FAILED BECAUSE WE TRIED TO YOLO THOUSANDS OF MANS INTO THOUSANDS OF MANS ALL AT ONCE’… nah. That’s just a bad strategic decision.
This is why you failed. Harken back to the beginning of the “battle”. There was a smart voice of reason saying “This will fail. We will sustain heavy losses for no benefit.” ← If you had cared about his point of view, you would have chosen a different course of action. But, that would have required intelligence and maturity. Now, be a good little capsuleer and learn your lesson or you will get another spanking.
They failed.
Again.
Here’s the reading comprehension problems that you have.
It happened before so many times that it is hard to count.
So yeah. Common sense, planning and whatever makes you happy ultimately means nothing in the context of the title of this thread.
CCP didn’t deliver or prevent another shot show from happening and that’s a fact lmao regardless of how it makes you feel.
I don’t care that one of the sides lost. Put that in your skull. I simply want equal performance without game breaking behavior for EVERYBODY.
Stop with the crying already. It’s all anecdotal data that you are giving me here. And I couldn’t care less for it cause it is not about how this battle ended or who made the call to jump.
It’s about equal performance for everybody ffs.
Then don’t do stupid things that will with 100% certainty not work out, and then come whine on the forum and blame CCP when it happens.
That really seems to be a pretty simple concept to me.
Only one crying here is you, fam.
When a man points at the moon the imbecile examines the finger.
I’m done lmao. Can’t explain facts to people having some mental gymnastics agenda.
You knew what the outcome would be, but you were stubborn and proceeded anyway with your stupid course of action. You have paid dearly and learned nothing about the game . . . BUT! you have learned something about yourself. Will you continue your idiocy or will you take this valuable new information and make a change for the better?
“We will know better how to deal with them next time.”
Another philosopher lmao.
Too funny.
Careful. Impersonation is a banable offense and you are reposting this.
I am guessing you are part of Test/Papi group, there is players in those groups that have been around along time in EvE. These players will have known that the chances of the server being able to handle the amount of people in the system plus the 5-6k they were about to jump in was very minimal if not impossible and they should have known better than to try, this is how EvE has always been. So for them to actually jump in and allow this to happen instead of walking away from this fight was silly, yes they would have took a lot of flak from there enemies but it would have been the correct call.
CCP doesnt even know how many players the servers can handle, they continue to try and improve the servers but the numbers we are talking about that was involved in delve were huge and this was always the most likely outcome and most of the senior guys in test and co would have known this as most older EvE players will have so to then come to the forums after and scream CCP failed is silly.
