EVE is a game and some like to play mercenary which is awesome this was even possible for a while. But CCP broke it and now the only way to do it was to block trade lanes

Isnt that CODEs job?
We are not mercenaries and we don’t do wardecs (most of the time). Also freighter ganking is just a handful of CODE players but famous because of the insane killmails it creates.
You have my sympathy. Wading through this morass is not pleasant.
CODEs job is to annoy players, within the “rules”.
Of course their mantra provides them cover, sort of.
You can say CODE doesn’t care about loot all you want. But try taking that loot away from them and see how much they care then. I have, they care plenty.

We are probably the most transparent organisation I’m the whole game about the reasons why we do what we do. Yet you still managed to get it wrong. Wow.
I’ve known quite of few players with CODE alts.
code literally gank anything they think they can get away with killing…
But when they kill something shiny they expect to get whats left.

In high sec you can not reliably count on pvp to bring you loot, just a high percentage of the time.

The people that post on the forums are quite frankly in the minority most Eve players have no clue or don’t read/post on the forums. We are the minority ruling the majority. Cause and effect unfortunately the majority have no clue about either. I have no problem in high-sec because i research Eve online, reddit and webcasts including you-tube & twitch streams from the Meta Show Talking in Stations etc etc to Delonewolf. From reading posts on MinerBumping.com damn i post minerbumping. Cloaking to the current war zones in null and sometimes wormhole space. Information is power, thats what gives us the advantage but the game is broken. The majority player has no idea any of this goes on. It has to change for the love of Eve it has to change.
mostly everyone i know says they avoid the forums and its pointless to post here.

That’s been the case since that one Dev made a Dev blog regarding a change that nobody liked in which he stated he got the idea from a post he read on the forums.
Now many players feel the need to make sure that Dev is aware that they don’t like certain ideas.
You cant please everyone.
