You’re not new, so I know you know holding hands of special snowflakes is exactly what CCP has been doing ever since the little bees have been in the game.
No one has gotten more attention than the special needs kids known as the Goons. It’s their holding-breath-until-we-get-what-we-want technique that set the bar for all the entitled behavior we see in this thread.
Don’t blame the whiners. They know they’ll get their way. That path was paved long ago by the nulbears with their incessant whining that got them everything they wanted.
Sounds to me like you’re just lying like the alt you are, you’re an angry carebear who got ganked one too many times due to his own stupidity, frying the few little braincells you have.
Your posts are no different from “i’ll log on my main and show you!”, “my friend is a GM, he’ll ban you” and other passive aggressive silliness. Baseless statements, lacking any sort of factual knowledge.
Its actually nice to see people fascinated so much by New Eden and perspective of flying spaceships, that they wait for game to become more accessible for them.
Well, I dont know how long someone can wait, but frequenting this forum may be a good entertainment in the meantime, maybe even rivalling playing other games.
But why do you feel that everyone need to move out of high sec?
Shouldn’t this game have room for those that want to actually stay in high sec, and what’s wrong with high sec actually being high security?
I’m a pirate, but I still can’t understand why some think going after noobs in high sec in any form is fun.
I am not of the opinion that they should leave. However, some people decide to leave high sec for whatever reason and outside of it there are far worse things than wars that ruin your day. If people are already challenged with dealing with easy to avoid war decs, how are they going to deal with things ruining their days that they cannot avoid? That’s my line of thinking.
Some people need easy to achieve goals to feel better. I wonder, though, how many actual new player corps are actually affected by wars.
The same as killing noobs in low sec or null sec or wormhole. Just because your in a different security status doesn’t mean the player base suddenly becomes better at PVP.
Then take into consideration most of our kills are against veteran null sec players.
The upshot is you cannot defend against someone who just flies up to you goes blap blap and says ■■■■ it and suicides at a ship which will in no way fight back, and if said ship has drones out and blaps first concord comes and finishes the job anyway. The irony is concord protects the ganker and you know it. Concord needs to be removed. The gankee has no defense against a ■■■■ it mode from both npc’s and players its a ■■■■ mechanic, if i am in a belt with my tech 2 drones out in my mach see a cata come at me i know he’s going balls deep and if i set my drones at him first I know concord is going balls deep either way i’m ■■■■■■. Thats a ■■■■■■ up mechanic. And you have the gall to call it pvp and content creation. In the realworld we call it a sucker punch.
The point is that it’s fun to extort and kill noobs, it’s also fun to attack groups that are bigger or are more capable but I’m not going to lie, it’s fun to attack noobs. You’re doing a good deed™
Noobs obviously don’t like it very much and then try their (factless) best to try and make it easier for noobs, by trying to make it sound as if they want to make it better for newbies.
There’s a big difference between newbies and noobs:
Newbies have a valid reason to not know stuff, they also have the capability to blossom and become an active, contributing member of EVE society. Doesn’t mean they can’t be useless, but they still have the promise so it’s worthwhile to invest effort and time into them (as me and many others do in the Rookie channel).
Noobs however, are just a lost cause. They had years of time to learn basic stuff, to realise that this game requires effort, is a pvp sandbox and to grow beyond being a newbie. But they never did, mostly due to laziness and lack of capability. They’re factless, useless and meaningless. These players are cattle, they graze the lands for isk and tend to fly hilariously expensive but still crap fits backed by zero understanding of game mechanics. They can’t be taught anything, they don’t use basic logic or reasoning and they’re certainly not going to take care of themselves. They want everything handed to them in a SJW bubble of Ultimate Destiny.
It is perfectly possible to defend against gankers in multiple ways. It is not the problem of the game that you are too lazy or don’t care enough to prepare or familiarize yourself with game mechanics. I mean half the stuff you cry about isn’t even true, CONCORD will not kill you if you attack me first.
