Why not make Cynos for Battleships instead, then they’ll actually have a use

Other than that, it’s an ok change. If there would be a T1-Frigate which can open a cyno, it would be ok.

Even without baiting, this feels like it’s going to make cyno’ing anything period is just pointless. Only braindead or suicidal players would light a cyno with these changes.

I for one want to see more limits on AFK cloaking, it’s risk free now. Anyone going AFK in well trafficated parts of new eden deserves to die no matter their ship/fit. Add some damn play/counterplay. In WOW hunters have track stealth and flares, forcing rougue players to watch out. Why should I be able to park an alt in a system and go to to the movies and then come home and find it still there, safe and sound?
Give cloaks a fuel cost, 30 minutes active for a full load, and let defenders probe them down if they sit on the same grid too long.

This will literally accomplish nothing other than forcing people to have an extra ship on grid with them, eating up server resources. What’s cute is how they end the post with “Fly safe.” Flying without a cyno is quite literally the opposite of that xD

I am concerned that this will make capital battles happened less perhaps similar to how phoebe worked in that respect. Then again I guess capital owners can afford the force recon loss more than others? So maybe it wont affect that at all?

Like how this won’t affect small fleets of Rorqual miners. They’ll just have an alt sitting cloaked in a force recon ready to light.

They need a ship module, maybe high slot, that can send out a pulse about as long as your directional scan. What’s that pulse do? Forcibly decloak anything cloaked in it’s range.
