Chaos Era Continues - Cyno Update

At this point it is absolutly clear, that they not play it. Even if they do, they had never have to work hard for their ships, neither do it in a smaller group.

Thank you for proving my point.

Outstanding! Excellent change! More - give me more!!! Second best change after the 0.0 Blackout.

EDIT: No sarcasm here. I really do love it! Keep this up!

Tackle the booshed. It hardly adds safety, and capital use is risk free right now. Hell, add a 30 minute (minimum) jump cooldown to all combat caps and it would still be worth it just to kick off the CD, etc.

There’s so many ways you could make booshing capitals an absolute terror, while still making it require a bit of skill.

The more I think about it, the more it fits the Chaos Era philosophy.

Well, the best option would be to delete all capitals from the game, all skill injectors and stockpiled ore and minerals, but I kind of doubt CCP is that dedicated to the chaos era. Having read about how Fozzie considers doing anything at all about skill injectors to be a complete non-starter, it’s not like we can actually fix sod all in Eve to begin with. The worst and biggest core problem will always lie throbbing like a cancerous tumor in the center of it all.

Why? You paid for that account too, why wouldn’t use it for your own capital moving?

CCP devalues injectors (and SP) with frequent SP give-aways.

Yesterday a streamer who I follow on twitch told me what Booshing means.

Right this moment I feel that I am one of you!

if ya dont want to inpact hauling why not a logistic cyno, same as the standard but only JF can jump to it

I think they should leave cynos on caps but have cynos not allow siege (etc) and if you are in siege (etc) you can not light a cyno.

Problem is, the spool-up time for the boosher is the time the cyno needs to light and the caps need to jump. You’ve got to get tackle first, and that just gives more time for the booshers to get scrammed. And yes, because capital and supercapital move ops do still use subcap cover fleets, the booshers will get scrammed.

Yeah, that’s a great way to show your customers you value the investments they’ve made. MMOs endure largely on sunk cost fallacies, you know. Don’t give people a fresh start in your aging MMO—EQ2 showed how bad an idea that is.

CCP should definitely get rid of supers. But they need to do it in a way that makes the people who have them feel like they got something for those supers.

No they don’t. Those give-aways go into the SP farms, too.

I would just like to concur wholeheartedly with this poster. EVE Online and Crowd Control Productions, past and present, do not deserve a community composed of people like Yan Ytor. :upside_down_face:
Perhaps this is for the best . . .

I have 1m unallocated SP on this character now thanks to recent promotions… didn’t need to buy an injector for it.

This might become interesting a few hot drop alliances near me that are complaining that this announcement will basically be the death of them with the amount of members that have just claimed they are going to unsub. I can finally pull out the Rorq for some mining

Right. And you didn’t need to before, either. But the guy who started up and injected his way into a Rorqual right away, upthread? He still needs injectors. And each and every SP-farming account that’s received the same 1m SP has basically gotten 2 free injectors to sell.

Because only someone who doesn’t understand the game would make a statement like you did.

I’ve seen some of these move ops. The openings for a quick boosh are large. Also, you ignore that there’s other complementing changes that can be made, like changing requirements for jumping or penalties for it, etc. You are putting a lot faith in the average dunce cycling through different clients on a mostly afk mode.

Then there’s no fixing Eve. The main problems lie in the stockpiled wealth, sp, materials and capital assets, all underpinned by the existence of skill injectors.

Welp, guess we’re done here, given that you’ve just established that any necessary change is apparently unwanted.

Jump freighters will need a recon chain to move? LOL so dumb.

If the aspiring Rorqual pilot also participated in recent SP promotions, he didn’t need to buy 1M SP to hit his goal. SP farms will undoubtedly find a buyer for their free SP, but all boats were raised.

No JF can jump to a covert cyno

Jump Freighters got massively buffed by this. CovOps frigs are cheap as hell, the CovOps Cyno has a very short lifespan and doesn’t appear on overview unless you’re on grid with it.
