Like seriously what is this bullsheet metrics we are using now day lets take a look at the real activity and not the thousands of alpla clones being logged in then instantly logged out to boost the Dau.
All these people that have played for a year and have no endgame aspirations for what ships you want to fly these stats might be great. But for players that want to actually sink a decade of their life into this game and actually have at least something to show for it after all the wasted time,effort and money besides a couple of hundred free killmails against defenceless ratting subcaps or miners then you might relise that the game removing all of its substance is actually hurting the game and is only bringing changes that are good for short term players.

You are only looking at half of the puzzle. The plex has been sold. CCP has the money. The plexing krab then soaks up computing resources in order to produce the isk to pay for the plex. CCP could and should just undercut the krab by eliminating plex and just sell ships direct to the PVPers who don’t want to krab for cash. Then krabbers who like krabbing activity will have to buy accounts. And do away with the stupid Alpha clone. 30 day trial is PLENTY of time. Good for the game in the long run.

No its not. Alpha clones are the best thing that could happen to eve…games hard enough to get people hooked to the learning cliff…at least infinite trial gives them time and doesn’t put pressure on them.

Fine, make it a number of logged in hours but make it finite, not this BS alpha crap. It’s not the best thing that’s happened to Eve, it’s been one of the worst.

Its only the worst to you because theres kinks to work out but I will tell you this…noone I knew was even remotely interested in this game. Since the free infinite trial they are now considering it since they have plenty of time to learn the game. Yes it is good for the game…sorry that the bugs and bad quirks are there but thats why we need to refine it…not throw it away.

I though the Cyno should be charged up… the bigger ship you want to bridge or jump the longer you have to light for a lock on time.
