Customer support is seeing an increase in the number of scams happening in the Character Bazaar.
Specifically, people are creating characters with names similar to those being sold and contacting the buyer, asking for the ISK for the sale.
Be very careful who you send ISK to when purchasing a character. Double-check any communication you receive to ensure that it is coming from the correct character and not one with a similar-looking name.
Scamming is strictly prohibited when it comes to character sales. Anyone involved in such a scam will receive a permanent suspension across all their accounts.
