Hi all.
I wish to move a char on an account from slot 3 to slot 1
Research says just drag and drop on the launcher char selection screen, but no matter how long i hold it doesnt allow. am i doing it right?
Ive tried through the launcher, in game on the char selection screen and even tried on account management on the website.
(note i can reorder accounts fine)

The order of the character selection screen is based on when you last played the character, with the latest choice on the left side.
So if you log in the third character and log out, it’s the first character from the left now.
Or is that not what you mean?
As Gerard mentioned, you cannot move it. Its location on the launcher is when you logged in last
I think he means characters in the launcher window, not character selection screen in the client? Launcher characters are not ordered by last login, at least not for me. My main is in the middle, for I don’t know what reason. Characters in the launcher don’t change their places, and I don’t know how to move them from one slot to another. I don’t see a reason to move them either, but maybe some people prefer certain characters in specific slots.
I think that is based off who was created first. So your “main”, was created 2nd on your account
Nope. My main was the first-ever character I created in this game.
PS. I kind of remember him being in the first slot in the launcher for a long time, and then at some point it changed, but I’m not 100% sure. If that’s the case, then character slot positions can be changed, however, I have no idea how.
Ok, so drag and drop allows you to move your accounts around.. like i have 3 accounts.. that allowed me to move account one down to 3 etc…
to move the characters on it, you’ll have to remove that account and re-add it with each character in the slot you want it in. if you played on the old launcher @Meridan_Night thats probably why your main was moved, you added a different character first then the main.
*note i haven’t tried it but i assume that would work

Yeah i mean reordering the three chars on say account 4 in the launcher.
I have 8 accounts, and all of my mining chars on accounts 2-8 are in slot 1, barring account 4, which is in slot 3.
The number of times ive launched the wrong char that is in slot 1.

The only other solution i have is for you to change the launcher settings so it brings up the old character select screen. It won’t change the order on the launcher but the character select screen changes depending on who was logged in last.
