I’m sure this question has been answered but I’m not finding the actual answer anywhere: I have an Omega character around 49 mill skill points and I was wondering if it was possible to basically transfer that character to a new onev moving his skills over as they are already mapped. Since I can’t change his name. So basically, creating a complete skilled clone of the old character to a new one.
No. the extraction will leave him still with 5.5m SP i believe so your new guy would be less SP overall
Its an interesting idea though, pay for character rename/migration service that resets all corp history, allows rename, allows recustomization. However like transfers some little blurb in your history should be noted somewhere.
Of course in games like WOW you can do this easily and there is no indication initially that your new name was ever associated with the original toon. Great for griefing LFR as soon as they recognize your name and boot you right away change it and the world opens up again for more salt and tiers as their LFR run burns to the ground…
You can extract down to 5 mil, but using skill injectors, and with diminishing returns you would not be back at the 49 mil sp without buying extra skill injectors.
0 to 5 million Skill Points at time of use = 500.000 unallocated Skill Points
5-50 million Skill Points at time of use = 400.000 unallocated Skill Points
50-80 million Skill Points at time of use = 300.000 unallocated Skill Points
While injectors lose SP, when you extract, you take out 500k SP per extractor
