• All Empire gate guns to start firing on anyone with a security or Empire standing of less than 0. At 10x the damage.
• Loot drops change to a random 5-20%. And then explode when opened.
• Killing a player with a smartbomb teleports you to a random wormhole.
• Ganking a Venture locks all available ships until you’ve mined 1,000,000 Veldspar. In an Ibis.
• Concord starts randomly podding Criminal offenders. Concord now shows up to kill Suspect offenders.
• Setting your safety to Criminal in high-sec causes your ship to explode. If already set, your ship explodes on undock.
• All Jita scammers permanently lose chat. Forever.
My wish is that CCP makes an announcement regarding the longevity of the game.
They would announce that there is now collision and Wear&Tear mechanics. Ships can explode if they bump against anything: asteroids, stations, gates, each other… and ships would become old and damaged, less performant from overuse and finally be useless after 5 or 6 months.
In that vision, PvP would then be phased out as it would no longer be needed for ship destruction and only PvE would survive the nerf bat.
EVE would become a true Sandbox with all the careers that make Sandboxes great, Exploration, Industry, Ratting, Hauling…
And in doing so, CCP would save the game into another bright decade of higher player involvement, plenty of new players and profits-a-gogo.

Nope. I’m staying with the Venture. Not going to train any skill that will not help me mine faster, reprocess better or build well.

Gate guns have a % change of firing on low sec status offenders that changes randomly, or even possibly by sec status, as well as ramping up over time.
Loot drops get randomized when criminal timers are involved. Could be 5%, could be 90%. Might get santa, might get the grinch.
New fun holiday gates open up but are old tech and faulty and can throw you various interesting places. Would also work for filaments, just break them a bit and randomize the spawn points till a “fix” is created.
Miners can find shiny bits in random roids but need to transport them somewhere dangerous to cash them in.
Mission runners can get “death spawns”. The factions have had enough and will warp in randomly to gank and pod them for their crimes against the factions.
Suspects now aggro sentry guns randomly because of a failure in the sentry gun system because of an external hacking attempt.
