An example, an alt character I once made to fly Talwars, Minmatar destroyers.
I thought it would be fitting to use Minmatar colours as well as show a destroyer logo prominently in the portrait as part of the theme.
And this shitty new system crops it away.
I’ve had a lot of fun with and spent a lot of time on the portraits of all my characters, even kept up a thread about it for years, only to see all those portraits needlessly cropped.

Looks like a snake sucking Aiko’s brain (we do have snakes in EVE, yes?)
I’ve had to redo it repeatedly, if I’m not careful it crops off my nose, if I go too far the other direction YOU CAN’T EVEN SEE MY RICH LUXURIOUS SOFT FULL BODIED ALL NATURAL BOSSY BOUNCING GLOSSY SILKY HAIR!!!

Oh, right. The achievements thing. Supposedly we can pin these or something? Doesn’t work for me…

Not yet, but it seems to be what the game is going for. Maybe it will look like that if we grind enough achievements?
You can only pin them before achieving them.
So what’s the point of pinning them then?
For keeping the ones you’re more interested in easy to find in the achievements window? I’m assuming more will be added to the game later on.
