İ believe to many many items storing in the stations all around the eve systems,
Lets clean them all by buyback program with jita prices, with this option players can convert all items and all ships (part by part) in the inventories to the isk so they can use fresh isk to buy what they need and all this item load will be gone from the server forever,
i believe this will be perfect why not ..?
You can start this buyback program yourself and offer Jita prices for the items you buy from others so they can easily liquidate their goods!
I would recommend paying a little less than Jita buy though, so you get paid the difference for hauling all those items to the market.
Server load won’t be reduced by me having less stuff. The database would have a few less rows but that’s not a big deal. What would be a big deal is people abusing this to liquidate stuff easily in dangerous space. Shove it into an upwell structure and sell it to CCP. Don’t even get me started about people trying to manipulate Jita prices to make worthless junk look expensive and print money with that.
