I lived through the entire satanic panic of the 1980’s. Because of this movie. Mazes and Monsters. Parents went nuts because they thought lil johnny was either going to get possessed or was going to go insane by playing AD&D.
Though interesting side note on the movie. A group of college buddies had gathered in a friends dorm room to laugh at the movie. They all played tabletop games. At the end of the movie. They turned to each other and laughingly said. We can do better.
Out of that they started a LARP game call Xanodria. That is still going strong today.
But before video games and Tabletop games. It was Rock and Roll, before that Jazz, and before that it was the evils of something something.. SMH
Pineapple pizza. It is very clear that pineapple pizza was developed by psychopaths ( probably the same ones who put tomato ketchup on fried eggs ) to subvert the younger generation.
I didn’t say you did. Just commenting on the fact that in every decade or so.. People find something, anything to blame the evils of the world on.
For some people it is these bad Ole online MMO games that are the cause. In another decade or so. I am sure it will be something else. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Critiquing and making these, to be charitable, ridiculous topics of a game he has zero understanding in how to play. All he/she? is in the end is an amusing little garden variety troll.
But here we all are feeding a pet troll the attention. Sometimes pruning and weeding out some of his more nonsensical mutterings. To keep him well watered. Though never after midnight. I have seen the movies. it never ends well. Generally a muppet song and dance and the explosions. Never a pretty end.
