Iâm not sure any amount of compensation would really be enough, CCP has always stated they wouldnât add name changes because your name is important as it is linked to your reputation, to now force people who could have spent the last 24 years cultivating that reputation in to changing their name just because of the shortsightedness of one guy at the top who didnât even register the domain for his new company name until 2 days before it was announced
Yeah if it was me who was affected by this i would be far beyond annoyed, these sorts of blanket changes that donât even need to happen really ruin the reputation CCP has been building over the last 24 years
But thats just my opinion i guess
Seems silly that they didnât go with âFenris Productionsâ instead of something that abbreviates to an EXTREMELY common in-game acronym.
There was probably going to be a little bit of collateral damage no matter what, but âFCâ is a vastly larger blast radius than âFPâ
