Confused over market api vs universe api

Hi ,

I’m currently trying to use the API to get a list of all item types. From what I can see you have universe/types which returns a list of all types. There is also markets//types which returns a list of all types that have an order in that region.

So how come universe/types has 35 pages of ids whilst markets/10000002/types (Jita) has 290 pages ? I would have assumed the regional market type ids should be a subset of the universe type ids ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, but /markets/10000002/types has a lot of duplicates, which is a known bug: https://github.com/ccpgames/esi-issues/issues/726.
