It seems to me that the drop rate for accelerators has increased significantly since DT.
more than the cr. many more HP and ~1500 HP/s regen. could not break it point blank with mach alone.
However I don’t even bother doing the cr sites now, unless there are sigs in the system, so I Can kill the cr while I scan the sigs.
I did it in a Gila, using Valkyries. Took a long, long while, they disengaged multiple times during the course of combat. I had to use Valkyries because of their speed, the other drones couldn’t do it, just not fast enough. Due to Valkyries doing explosive damage it took a really long time.
After 2-3 of them I fitted a VNI with full drone velocity and tracking mods and rigs as much as I could while just preserving tank. This worked out much better because the actual delivered DPS was higher and it went down a lot quicker. VNI is better then Ishtar for this due to its hull bonusses applying to all drones rather then focused on heavies / sentries.
I’m going to try a Munin and Loki later on today, both will be with MWD + Autocannons, we’ll see how it goes. Was also thinking about a Web, but I think I’m better off just doing extra tracking vs web as its a more flexible set-up. Only thing that I am not sure of is how much extra damage I’ll take from MWD sig bloom, but I’ll have both high DPS and long range ammo on me so I can fall back and shut off the MWD if need to.

It is absolutely worth warping to Sig and collect Gnosis/Sunesis BPC in a couple of minutes. That’s broken. I don’t care if you follow the escalation afterwards. CCP should gate the Sig, that’s all.
The other issue is that regular superratting will give you Agency points and will yield you the implants in the end. For not even doing one single site. That as well is broken and a spit in the face of players who try to participate.
Well, they participate, they just get it easier. It is also a helping hand from CCP to those who cant deal with hard drifter sites.

I think the HS sites are fine because I can do them easily. Had big problems with the last one so swings and roundabouts and all that.
The reason for the new despawn timer is probably the fact that people were farming the drones like crazy. I saw someone with a Dominix and a MTU with about 50 drone wrecks scattered about. I also saw someone trying to do the site in a Megathron Navy Issue. Regrettably, I didn’t stay to find out how they got on.
I do. I don’t trust any character I don’t know. Especially not in events. It’s that simple.

If by “they participate” you mean, CCP invented a rule which automatically grants them Agency rewards for doing what they do anyway, then yes, they participate. Alas, then we might ask, why bounties are a parameter and not something else, like number of finished missions, PVP kills, Data Sites done, Number of items sold etc.

Maybe number of missions completed isnt even a possibility because of restrictions of their event system. So bounties it is. Actually its the most inclusive since a long time, as you dont have to get much of them this time. Previously it was 100M ISK for lvl 5…
I would not want everyone to be subject to some hard stuff. There have to be something for most of players.

Even with a frickin Gecko on a Rattlesnake I can’t always kill the cruiser. That’s with a tracking link, DDA’s and 2 DNC’s, giving it 650 dps and 3.7k speed. That’s just insane. It disengages repeatedly and misses more than half the time. RHML with furies don’t do crap against it either.

If you can afford a Rattlesnake and gecko, you can afford a pirate cruiser with MWD to catch up to the cruiser and kill it. It’s not that hard… There are fits in this topic.

I think that exactly sums up my feeling on the event. I certainly see CCPs stated point that they were experimenting with scaling difficulty, trying out new challenges etc. The actual result however is massive farming by a smaller portion of the players, and massive indifference by everyone else. Not really an ideal outcome.

not unless this is RAW isk . AFAIK it was only “estimated value”, which means nothing when the market will adapt to the sudden income.
I sold my 10 remaining gnosis, because I got 2 5* bpcs. not sure those BPCs can be considered as worth 150M each though.

Hehehehe, maybe instead of advertising EVE as “EVE have cities in space”, they should advertise to space farmers with “EVE have farms in space”. 
The weirdest thing I find with market adaption is how badly people rate their own time lol… Not sure why people are silly enough to turn any isk making activity into 5-10mil an hour by selling their end product that low then keep doing it to keep it low xD
