Is there a type of buildable container for a station that can hold assembled ships? I have been using Station Containers to hold various things, but I wanted to store several different ships for Abyssal but today learned you get an error message trying to move an assembled Frigate into a Station Container (You cannot put an item of group Frigate into a Cargo Container).
Anyone know if this is something we can do (or not)? Thanks.
Ships have their own place in a station.
Assembled ships, no. Unused, stacked ships, yes.

I’ve once heard of someone who used Bowheads as containers to store and organise assembled ships.
If you are the CEO of a corp, you can rent an office on stations. One of the first divisions I make in corporate hangars is ships. The idea is this corporate hangar allows me to share ships within the corporation. I also use the corp hangars to sort items. Rent varies from 10,000 ISK per month on up. Popularity of the NPC stations control the rent cost. Player owned stations are set by the owner. For this reason, I don’t set my rent to auto-pay, as a nasty owner could go from 10K per month to 10M overnight.
If you don’t belong to a corp, I highly recommend you obtain the skill to own a corp. If nothing else, you get to rent custom hangars and no tax on missions and LP.
