Cruisers are still better just fly it well, you have medium neut which neuts out desi’s quickly use it to pull range, medium weapons do much more damage from range no need to sit 0 where it can get under your guns.
Destroyers have always been pure dps machines but their tank is nothing great a battle ship can die to a harpy: does not mean the harpy is op.
Also as a side note the alliance tournament teams have access to the navy desi’s but I don’t recall seeing many so far.
