The candidates page is yet again a disgrace for this election. Like all the years before. As it does not list the alliance a candidate belongs to, it does not allow for an effortless informed decision on who to vote to and who not to vote for. Not even the forums tell me to which alliance someone belongs. I need to use EVEWHO or Zkill to see that…
In addition, all “Read full post” links under each candidate go to a 404 error page.

Quit posting things that are not relevant. IF that page was linked on the voting page, I would not have posted this topic. On the voting page, only the defunct and information-omitting page is available.
There is no link to this dev blog on the voting page either, and it’s scrolled far out of view in the launcher. Plus, instead of using the voting page’s Candidates list, I have to sift through yet another page and text to find the information that already has a dedicated site.
You’re supposed to become informed BEFORE you step into the voting booth.
You have a point. I agree that a link that promises “further information” should indeed display the candidates Corp/Alliance and a short summary of what he stands for. It’s just what a normal user would expect. And rightly so.
I have asked in the CSM Canidate Discord if we could setup a VAA.
But in order to do this we need a streamlined set of Questions for all perspectives of the game in an certain amount of 20-30 Questions.
These Questions need to be answered beforehand by every candidate so the VAA can be set up.
The simple math is the following:
Question are YES, NO or MAYBE.
You get 2 Points if YOU and the Candidate have the same answer.
you get 1 point if you slightly off YES / Maybe or NO / Maybe.
IF you weigh the Question it get double points or even negtive to reflect your weight.
In the Politics every answer get also some kind of explantion from the candidate to explain the YES/NO/Maybe. We can do the same to give a clear clarification what a YES means.
After you answered all question you get a list of candiates which think the same.
Be ware which you can manipulate this as Candidate by answering MAYBE all the time.
So you would always get 1 Point somehow. But you would see which Candidate A always said MAYBE and got 20 Points and Candiate B also got 20 Points but has more 2 Points cuase of matches than just 1 Point.
In the end you still would need to loook into the specific Candidates agenda to double check it.
But thats much better than reading all the Campaing threads for now XD

Agreed. It’s too late for this year, I know we had that at some point in the past, because I used it some years ago to filter for candidates. 
Even at the point when i asked (10.10.2025) it would already very ambision to get it establish.
So lets hope we can have it for next year means they have now 365 Days to come up with the Questions and setup the Software and a timelime until every Candidate needs to submit the Questions if not already done as a must beforehand.
Tip:
Crate a google Form for the Candites with the Questions to have a dataformt (table) to parse into the VAA.
Questions can be created out of the daily CSM live and or be like this:
Do you feel home in Highsec?
Do you feel home in Lowsec?
Do you feel home in Nullsec?
Do you feel home in Wormhole?
Do you feel home in Pochven?
