A lot of people are asking me who to vote for. Some want me to write an entire article outlining the various candidates. However, aside from the usual vanity candidates, I don’t recognise any of these plebs. I’m not gonna sit and read all these posts, and most of them seem pretty uninteresting, but I’ll listen if someone wants to make a recommendation. I will only allow my people to vote for candidates who match the following criteria:
they must be a PvP main
Not voting for any carebears or ‘market nerds’. Sorry.
This list may change as I continue to evaluate the candidates. If you are a CSM candidate and an actual PvP player, let me know I will update the list and have my people vote for the best. Good luck to you!
There are other threads in this board that discuss the candidates, so it’s probably fine.
Be cautious of carebears pretending to be using a PvP platform. Even if the campaign post only looks like they’re fishing for highsec votes, they may be a carebear trying to sneak into the CSM to push a pro-AFK platform.
Yup, that’s the case. Can’t recommend anybody, I don’t know these guys. Dujek seemed okay, but I didn’t vote for him, because I didn’t know enough of him.
I only voted for 1 person this time. A couple of sentences is not enough for me to get a feel for who the guy is. These candidates really should put in more of an effort to introduce who the F they are.
The ideal candidate should not have a focus on just one aspect of the game, since CSM will be consulted on various topics, including, but not limited to PvP, economy and PvE. Having members of CSM focused on just one aspect of the game makes them pretty much useless for discussing any other aspect.
On the other hand, contrary to the popular belief, EVE is not a PvP-first game. It’s economy-first. Since there are many, like you, who think that EvE is primarily a PvP game and will vote accordingly, my primary vote goes to The Oz, just to add to the CSM someone with a perspective different from just PvP. He does an excellent job of monitoring the economy and understands that the amount and quality of PvP is directly impacted by the health of the economy.
I’ll add a couple of other current (or past) CSM members based on the quality of work they’ve done so far, and that’s it.
