I dont know much about the CSM but if its based on a democratic process then of course the most organised, richest vested interests will grab the power.

This can be remedied, by simply applying a 1max member from any Corp/Alliance, to occupy a CSM seat.
Why should it be? Thats not how democracy works

So as to prevent any Corp/Alliance gaining too much influence/representation on the CSM.
1 member each, is enough.
Currently its not the best candidates being elected, its the ones from Corps/Alliances that want their guys on the CSM to influence game development, in their interests.
Just like CCP had acident with chinese singularity server. It turns out devs there were really into pockets of players. Players even directly bought in game stuff from chinese operators of server.

Whose rights are you seeking to protect?
A lot of federations have limited seatings for their members so that the larger members canât dictate policy to their smaller members.
CSM is not about rights of anyone.
Its about an intermediary body between players and CCP.
Its not possible to overlook the concerns involved in 3/10 CSM being GoonWaffe, as them somehow being uniquely immune to ingame politics while carrying that tag.
What if next year its 6 GoonWaffe CSM?
And thats not about the rights of players?

CSM is not a Federation, by any stretch of definitionâŚ
