High Sec crime is of course a part of the game - it keeps things interesting for all parties. As for strategies im not sure, but its easy to avoid as long as your paying attention. But there will always be room for ganking, people get lazy and careless all the time.

Yeah, it’s the longer version of the expanded launcher. Takes up 2 slots. If you send me 5b you can have it for what I paid for it. AFAIK there are only two in game and the other is owned by CCP Iseewhatyoudidthere.

Nope i think that’s the expanded one you’re on about. The Extended Probe Launcher takes up 2 slots as has been mentioned. It also microwaves hot-pockets, downloads porn while you scan and can easily tell the difference between Pepsi and Coke .

Sorry i should have said it uses PLEX as a sort of “decision making” fuel a bit like CCP themselves. You have to load it with 5 more PLEX than you get in a small package then pour in the competing colas

First off, great choice. Stealing in hisec is a solid way to get started making isk (and ‘friends’) for the newly minted ne’er do well. People don’t shoot as much as they used to, however as stated above, you will definitely get a bite now and then - a bit of research on your target goes a long way, and you eventually get a feel for who will shoot.

As far as payout goes, if this is something you’re concerned about, use your dscanner in combination with your probes - look for ships which have faction wrecks (e.g. ‘Amarr large wreck’), as those will have tags which sell for a lot and take up basically 0 cargo space. People really don’t like it when you grab their tags. So, you get a little scratch for your trouble, and you’re more likely to get shot at.

You’re off to a great start - stick with it.
