Deleting old entries from Launcher profile?

My Eve local data is ~4GB. Looking at one of my profiles there are a lot of files going back to 2014 including character portraits, chat logs, ships, etc.

Anyone know if it’s safe to delete the older data without causing problems. The only thing I care about are my UI settings.

I made a backup copy and then deleted all files over a year old and everything is working fine. I have no idea if this has any impact on performance, but it saved a lot of disk space.

Gratz on figuring out an answer to your question.

I use to delete all those files, especially the chat log, and never noticed any negative effect from it.
