It is indeed a gesture they made to pre promote and celebrate the acquisition, before the abyss concept, they mentioned black desert in a fan event publicly and suggested they liked the game very much, I think even tho, they are dazzled by the figure abyss throw out and it looks like a business deal rather than to achieve anything on development thru a deal, tho.

welp it was a fun ride.
the ship has sank, its always was sinking… we couldn’t even beat our own population record, no matter all these changes came in and to ill end… dismal returns cause CCP BROKE EVE ONLINE!.. this is what happens… loss of good talent, folks quiting and leaving and these in-denial degenerates still think they are winning… not!

So its bad and terrible, but because there is nothing else available you keep playing something that is bad and terrible.

Community wise I wonder if these new owners know just what they are getting into. I expect they will need to also invest in a pharmaceutical company that gives them access to some strong anti depressants. They are going to need them.

I always ask that too when somebody goes out and spends $25,000 on a car. I wonder, what were they thinking. 
Yeah, that’s going to go over well with the current player base. So unless the idea is drive off the player base and then use the various code/intellectual property for something else that doesn’t seem like a good move. And even then why “drive off the player base”? Why not just buy it and shut it down if that is the plan?

screw that… these changes have caused hundreds of pilots to spend cash and time into maintaining a stable ground… where as you have broken mechanics all over the place and refusal by staff to fix certain problems… ccp loves debating more than fixing crap. constantly into debates, debates, debates meanwhile the game is old as hec and seemingly they’ll push something out… just to break something else, then force the community to sit back and wait for them to fix it… sorry that’s just awful service… terrible thing about it… eve is very addicting once you cross over that learning curve… which still new players seemingly are not able to survive… they broke it.

11 years I’ve played EVE and I’ve enjoyed it. At the time CCP did something I didn’t like I always remember that its a game and I don’t own anything in it, so meh.
It’s seriously unhealthy to stay stuck to something that you think is bad. I’ve had friends with marriages like that and I don’t get it, as soon as my 1st marriage got bad I kicked her to the curb. Same with games.

Oh I don’t doubt there will be some. EVE players are like toddlers, even a small change in the environment and they throw a tantrum. They don’t even wait to see if the change is good, bad or in between. Start pitching a fit on the forums.
Mate if CCP’s is fully sold, how does the original owner have chance to exchange their owner ship to new stock holdings under the current owner?

Well mate if couldn’t quite probably mean that the game doesn’t change towards that bad part as anticipated, does it? Means we can still take it and eventually, we found not that bad and it turns out alright, I meant fact is eve over years has been great isn’t it? Nothing to quite about on it yet
