Without knowing how to play all that’s going to get you is a buttload of expensive losses. If you do know how to play you don’t need to take the shortcuts.
Eve isn’t pay to win, it’s pay and look like a clown with too much money.
It’s just been accepted by the player base as “in game money for game time”.
That’s one of its primary uses 
Heck, even kill boards and news articles do the real money conversion for kills and battles.
That’s a convenience to make some sense for the uninitiated, the cash>isk door only opens one way.

The only benefit of that, is that Black Desert Online can be played on DSL. <----Probably their trying to get money from there. Boy is Pearl Abyys really hungry for the money. Who knows, they might even make it more slow and try the Dial-Up market.

Not really mate, selling plex is part of the environment works, let’s say gesture speaking to a figuring number, 30%of population is farmer as professions, and 10% are traders,
if there’s a war break out, legally military personals would have to go for fundings to arm them selves and make sure their corps equiped competitively to keep their territory integrity, the funds are from the farms but the realisation of funding is realised by plex trading, what happens is that the price of plex would go up significantly at a short period of time, and the shortage of equipments on the market would leads to a price grow quickly, in that case traders would dumping in loads of items to balance the increasing and somehow the system remains steady and changing slightly
On the other hand if there’s not enough warfares, farms incomes and equipments grow hugely, the competition to its price would drop significantly and that’s the time for traders taking in their goods at the low point.
It’s action of buying plex is paying but it’s not a pay to win literally, it bringing up the environment live and stimulate its start changing , that’s how we driven it doesn’t it, its a living environment with the sophisticated mechanics to form it

You can play Eve on dial-up, the actual amount of data moving between client and server is surprisingly small; makes patch day an absolute bitch though.
I played EVE many years ago for a long time.
It was the greatest game ever made and I still have never played a game as good as EVE used to be.
Even though I kinda quit years ago I guess this is really the end.
Thankyou very much CCP for all the great times I miss old eve so much.

Ah yes, when netcode had to be good. Now a days netcode is lazy because of all the high speed connections.
Hmmmmmmmmmm. Pearl Abyss can do anything for money right. CCP could buy back EVE by paying $2B. Probably, the Iceland government would chip in as CCP is the pride of Iceland’s gaming industry. I also think Donald Trump might help in as well, since Trump likes Iceland.
