CCP being sold to a company that has a PTW and lack of communication with westerners history and a planned business expansion model of pushing mobile games…what could go wrong?

I understand the frustration tho mate, it’s going thru rough in the acquisition tho, but the fact war fare requires plex trading hugely is not paying for any advancements towards its competitor, its for structural settlement and types of ship involving to remain soveignty integrity, we don’t drive a multi billion ships around and take any corps out single handed don’t we?

Because we can’t , the plex are for accommendating our troops and equipment only necessary and actually are fair to any army they facing at, which pretty much needed the same in similar situation

On player scale it’s about cooperation and collaboration.

Just quite typing already and read what I wrote mate, it would explain it thoroughly,

No and noone asked them for their opinion …

On a Bright side…

…I got nothing.

Yep mate , if CCP’s goes online inkorea, that would make sense tho, it’s about Korean community isn it? Not about running a seccessful business tho

As CCP accounts for a fair portion of Iceland’s exports, I would say that you are wrong; even more so when you consider that the President of Iceland is a regular visitor to their office.

Your explanation doesn’t change anything, it’s P2W by the definition of P2W.

If you could buy plex for real money and only buy skins or game time that could not be sold or traded to other players then it wouldn’t be pay to win, but the fact that you can sell plex for in game currency to buy everything the game offers it is P2W.

Prior to skill point extractors/injectors this kind of P2W was accepted as “game time”, but still was P2W by definition, now it is without questionable dought, except to a few who don’t want to think their game is P2W.

It could be worse though, if you where allowed to buy items for plex, a BS for 100 plex, a titan for 1000 plex etc, that would be undeniable to anyone P2W.

Pearl Abyss will undoubtedly turn EVE into unquestionable P2W (and maddening RNG) if their track record has anything to do with it.

Sad truth though of EVE online is just the nature of PvP in today’s MMO’s market, in 90’s and 2000’s through early 2010’s PvP was different, in today’s world pure PvP MMO’s are not as profitable as PvE centric MMO’s. I would wager if there was a PvE only version of EVE Online released today (with better PvE systems, and AI) it would put this PvP version of EVE Online to shame.

ZHere we go again, mate eve is not a pay to win mechanics implementation.

Pay to win mechanics is to pay real cash getting advantages that effect overly to a fair combat situation, if you purchased a ship that can take down a fleet mate solely because its attributes not any thing else, it’s called pay to win,

But if you referring anything about driving a tech 1 cruiser with meta four fits against a marauder, I just say it’s not fitted for that fight, on an average level people do combat with at least proper skill and affordable fits, as they already maturely grown full sized with a career path, if you can’t do that in combat, you need more time to explore the career path and consult yourself to commit to a career path to provide your self at least.

On the other hand meta four items are actually have their own market and their usage in its own combat environment, it’s cheap and easy to be replaced,

When we say combat mate, we have to admit that we have been thru career path and have ability make a living on it to provide for the fight, that’s a signature and a milestone of your avatar go mature.

I think it explained thoroughly enough Zakish, it seems you have been either not dedicated long enough to a career or just got in eve, but either way mate, set your self a goal try go for it, and be serious of it, just get there mate, seems talking is about not really playing while playing mate, make it count tho

I cancelled my subs. All of them. They can have them back when I see that they aren’t going to turn Eve into P2W. Even then, it’ll probably only be a single sub, and only until the first P2W shows up.

I have my hopes that this will be either no change or a good change, but having spent a good deal of time reading on BDO subreddit and google, if PA gets their fingers in at all, we’re ■■■■■■.

I’ve never agreed with the ‘Eve is dying’ threads. But… I’m concerned. Very concerned. Certainly enough that I’m not going to throw money at it.

It’s about the “Korean community” insofar as that’s were their income stream will be coming form.

Lets get a few things straight. Investors don’t care about the company in which they invested. They don’t care about the people playing it. The don’t even care if it fails or not.

As long as they are getting a decent ROI, they’re happy. If not, they sell it off and invest elsewhere.

The game company proper doesn’t care about the players, except insofar as catering to the broadest spectrum of people as they can to make the most income. They don’t care about the mechanics except as a means to keep people spending. They don’t really much care whether the game fails or not. Most of them have a decent resume and won’t be unemployed long.

Now we get to the players of the game. They actually care about it. They are the ones that will be hurt when it gets sold into micro heaven. They’re the ones that care about PTW and botting and RMT.

Unfortunately they are the only ones that are in no position to influence the game in one way or the other. It’s always the ones that care about something that end up getting screwed over. Thank God for capitalism and corporate greed.

Gotta say my experience with a Korean developer XL games was the worst gaming experience I have ever had in gaming in 20 years.

They not only didn’t care about the players, the cheating, or even the game sometime but every update the only thing you could absolutely count on was the cash shop being added to.

They had absolutely no concept of what pay-to-win was, nor did they seem to care when literally 95% of their population quit within a year, nothing changed, they just did the same thing until basically no one played.

Koreans live in their own bubble thinking everyone will continue to play with flashy graphics and ignore the pay to win content or just lazy unfinished content. It is important to know this model is failing in their own country. The concept of cheating is beyond them since in their country the government regulates the industry by having everyones social security number. They have no concept of the real gaming world.
