Pearl Abyss is probably going to get more people to join that Black Desert game, but I really doubt they will carry on any of the features like Scope videos. If they do have enough brains to fully comprehend EVE before this buyout, then they might have the brains to at least keep the people that do bring us the update videos.
I was always told to hope for the best, but plan for the worst.
So glad I have enough in game money to Plex for game time.

IIRC from the notice, they are simply buying out the three investors who now own EvE, then, EvE will continue to be run by it’s folks and they will try to integrate Pearl’s people, ideas, technology and anything else that may be relevant going forward.
The safest thing to do (IMHO) is msimply wait and see what happens going forward.

It was clear that the only thing that mattered to CCP for the last 2 years was driving down costs and keeping 1/4 subs as high as possible. This allowed their owners to get the best price possible which they have done.
Could CCP continue on the antibot/isbox path and start real action against botters? One option would be to allow volunteer GM’s from in game corps who could target opposition bot fleets. Of course their actions would be recorded and verified by CCP. Seems like a great cost free plan.

Instead of doing useless things like these, CCP just needs more security workers who can identify bots more regularly and stage the Yulai battle arena for bots on a regular basis. That will destroy bots and make people happy that they could punch them in the nuts.
Alternatively you could just go out into null sec and hunt them, you know? CFC and other big groups provide shelter for the bots and no one does something about it beyond crying on the forums or reddit.

The SP cap for extraction should be above max extended alpha sp so 20-21mil not 5

Botters dont buy subs from CCP.
That would defeat the purpose.
Buying a sub does NOT make you allowed to bot.
