most people use ceptors to move around

Right, but you said ‘you wouldn’t need to go catch ratters’. Or do you mean you could catch people who weren’t ratting, because travelers wouldn’t be in uncatchable ships?

I think tbh bud your just one of those guys that dont like flying frigates? so your annoyed at not being able to catch them?

yep that because travellers wouldn’t be in uncatchable ships there would be other better content so you wouldn’t need to bother hoping someones not aligned

that would only be true for people with sabres and mobile bubbles tbvh, and even then its actually easy to catch stuff if you know where to look.

Ok. Then there’s a disconnect here between your goals and the goals of the inty gangs.

See, you’re looking for a fight. You want to find someone, engage them, have them engage you, and the two of you shoot one another. If you lose that fight, is that ok with you? Which is more important to you, getting the fight, or getting the kill?

Because these interceptor gangs roaming through, hunting ratters? They don’t want a fight. Not really. If they wanted a fight, they’d bring ships that could, you know, fight. Ships that could take a hit, that could receive reps. Heck, they’d bring ships that could give reps. It’s a gang, there’s enough of them to do that.

They don’t want a fight. They want to go out, kill someone who really can’t fight back against 20:1 odds, and then run away laughing and telling themselves what awesome PVPers they are.

combat ceptor is a favourite of long range roaming solo pvpers too tbh.

I agree CCP should take that from them so we can have fights and tell eacher other cool stuff thats not how we ganked some and make up some ■■■■ about how good we are when we are not.

only for the past 5 years. I fly them sometimes id much rather fly a fun ship but the game demands i fly them :frowning:

i fail to see how nullification stops someone who wants to fight from actually fighting you?

Sure, but is that because of bubble immunity or high warp speed? Combat Interceptors were a favorite of long-range solo roamers before bubble immunity, too.

bubble immune, otherwise go retribution or maybe enyo, possibly dramiel? cynabal? or any t3d…
Tbh its the only way to do 40jumps through sov null fast where most people just dock up.

Not really no, you can fly something else.

it doesn’t have a massive effect but it affects the ships we see in space.

VNI’s?

All of those still get used. And if you’re hunting the people who ‘just dock up’, then you’re not really looking for a fight, are you? I mean, those people clearly don’t want to be fighting another player. You’re looking for a victim.

I’m not saying PVP should be consent-only. After all, they did undock. But let’s not mince words about the motives of people who hunt miners and ratters. When Reavers or Black Ops go out hunting, we’re not looking for fights, either. We’re looking for blood, and we don’t intend for it to be ours.

I do fly all of them ships. I would like to solo in t2 hacs and stuff and I would if there was other stuff out there to kill other than solo ceptors solo frigs and ceptor gangs

cant kite in a VNI

looking to ctach something and escalate a fight, if i was looking for kills id just gatecamp in tama

thats so 2008 for me bro

In Interceptors? Really? And exactly what kind of escalation do you expect that you won’t just have to run away from? What kind of escalation do you expect that won’t be looking to be big enough to force you to run away?
