Devblog: War Declaration Changes - The War Adjacent to Christmas

I never thought we would see the loss of the pay to gank feature. No more ganking without being ganked by Concord.

Where did I say that you needed? I just stated that removing wardecs from highsec was stupid.

But you sure made your point clear.

no more pay to gank in high sec? really? I thought there would be thousands of postings for gankers crying about the loss of the pay to gank feature. No more ganking without being ganked by Concord.

Wardecs could be removed from the entire game and Burn Jita will still happen people.

I’m not arguing with that. That doesn’t change, that I still believe removing wardecs in hs is stupid. I don’t see your point here… Do you think I’m against ganking or something?

Edited to not need to make changes every time the original post is changed.
I have never seen so many morons crying about war dec removal.
Please join the rest of us in EVE by saying that the only people crying about this, want to gank without being ganked.

Have a good snack and enjoy reading the endless cryatholon of people wanting to gank, no longer being able to gank, without Concord ganking them.
Perhaps you are an intelligent person who read this and thought, those poor hypocrites wont be able to pay for endless ganking rights anymore.

Man, that is so weird to see! People agreeing more on reddit then on the official forum. It’s the end of days I tell you.

Perhaps you can look for us and then let us know.
please summarize for the rest of us who dont use Reddit.
Thank you.

Highlight the problem then - as you put it.
CODE won’t be able to gank without Concord ganking them?

There is a skill directly related to tax by the way.
I used player locations, but not because of taxes.
Now I get to spend an eternity dealing with the problem that is - Asset Safety.
The list is that long.

Well, just to reference a few, (if thats okay here?):

DKFever "The hs wardeccers don’t fight, they immediately dock up at any sign of trouble. We had a small confessor fleet burning our way through smart when we were decced by pirat a few months ago, caught one of their legions at a gate. We had maybe 12 in fleet, 7 fessors, 4 deacons and a couple falcons. Pirat had many more than that in local, plus all their neutral logi/links.

That legion got tackled by one confessor. ONE. Rest of the fleet was 2 jumps back. He popped ecm drones and hightailed it back to the npc station so fast I swear the timespace continuum breached.

They’re nothing but pussies that don’t want to fight, they just want free kills. Can’t speak for kspace, but if we lay eyes on any of their structures in jspace, don’t care if its a poco or a fortizar, it’ll die"

murkar “yeah this has been my experience as well…even the biggest groups are really only interested in plinking hisec orcas. They have no interest in fighting an actual real organized PVP corporation. This is a big nerf to their ■■■■■■■ lazy-ass play style.”

rcs619 "It only took them ten years to do something about it.

I’m really curious how many players war decs alone have driven from the game, because I suspect it is disastrously high. I know at least three people who quit because of war decs, and I imagine most longtime players have their own little circle of friends that got driven away. They were never fun, or fair, or worked as CCP intended. Just glorified griefing, and good riddance to that. Shame it couldn’t have happened back in EVE’s peak days."

As requested, we now have more input to topic, for those of us who don’t sift through Reddit.

You need people to build the ships before you blow them up. There has to be focus on both, all I meant.

Stay Classy plz

And you need people to blow them up or there’s no point building them.

Also, try not to make the mistake of thinking that PVE and PVP are mutually exclusive. Plenty of PVP’ers out there make their money with industry of their own.

You seem to be under the impression that this change works in favour of the ‘victims’ of this game’s primary function, PVP. You are incorrect. The ‘victims’ will always be victims, as long as they choose to remain victims. Additionally, these changes only serve those with the financial and logistical faculties to build and own structures, and it only allows people who own structures to participate in high sec PVP other than ganking, which means ganking is still going to continue, business as usual, and people who don’t own structures won’t be able to do anything about it in retaliation aside from gank themselves.

For the record, the whole ‘wardec illegibility’ nonsense comes straight out of Black Desert Online. Anyone who thought PA wouldn’t have an influence over EVE Online, this is the evidence that they do. And now, I bid welcome to all the new holding corps nul sec will be making, allowing their freighters to move in and out of high sec with virtual impunity.
