Yep. totally blobbed by the 400 people in one not-full ferox fleet, while an entire fleet of CVA were there to help shoot the structure.
Yes, that’s rather my point, isn’t it? All of the ‘we want teh content’ and ‘we WANT people defending’ is nonsense. It just gets in the way of leadership’s moneymaking.
Also, do realize that you’re talking about 13 pilots from Pirat that swapped to an alt corp. If this is your single example of attempting to prove that most of us aren’t excited about actual combat (when we’re not getting N+1’d out of the universe) then you’ll have to step it up.
We’re a Mercenary group at heart. Sometimes we take the option that better suits our client when it comes to destroying a structure. If someone is paying big $ for us to do a job, why man-fight and hope we can overcome?
It always has been, and is always going to be. You’d have to remove high-sec pvp entirely for it not to be and removing it breaks the game. So you either accept that and try to make the content as varied as possible or you keep bitching about it, try to fix it with shitty changes, but only make it worse by forcing people into bigger blocs doing more cancerous activities.
Also anyone else think it’s funny/convenient that @CCP_Falcon and @CCP_Lebowski told us one thing, stealth changed it over night, then dipped out of the conversation?
It’s the easiest one to reference, because we generally don’t pay attention to your timers. I could go back and dig up every other time we’ve actually formed to defend something from you, if you like. It’ll show the exact same behavior. And there’s nothing wrong with that… but when you’ll only actually fight if you have no chance of losing… don’t claim you’re there for the content. The only content PIRAT and Marmite are after is one-sided turkey shoots.
“Neutral logi has the group a bit more split. I for one agree with the change. It was never fair for someone to be in a fight and then all of a sudden see logi light up. It will all just come in house now. We have no issue with this as a leadership team.”
Your group maxed out that coward strategy .
You never leave the station without your 2 neutral logistics .
Kickah is never fighting without his 4 neutral nestors.
I think you’ll be upset to find you’re wrong. Adapting to this is easy. Neutral logi was used because it’s easy, but that doesn’t mean we’re exclusively dependent on it. We’ll find out soon enough
Actually you are wrong about Faylee, he is one that does actually want that, I have spoken to him in the war dec discord and he was open to the content that it could bring.
PIRAT are a very sneaky alliance, they do everything they can to win, your job is to counter this. as you quite rightly point out. If it is a merc contract then the objective comes before the fight.
There was no stealth change. The Dev diary always said LE and reps made you criminal.
Lebowski just had it wrong, it not being his dev blog. And he apologised for getting it wrong. Since then there hasn’t exactly been anything meaningful they could respond to I’d guess. They obviously don’t have a solution to the corp side step.
Not true. You purposely stay away form PVP corps while you are baiting. I’ve seen your stream. And watched you say just that right before you leave the area if there are PVP corps online. And it was going to be 5 leshaks not navy drakes landing in your orca that night.
Its called being aware and not taking a fight that that you will clearly lose. No point wasting a tonne of isk needlessly. And you clearly haven’t seen some of the good close fights that have occurred.
What you meant to say was “You purposely stay away from fights that you have no chance of winning”… you know… like 5 leshaks vs an Orca…
I will take a close fight (you know like taking a fight vs a PvP fit stratios and Rattle while on stream, solo, with no fleet online to help me? Losing the Orca and not batting an eye?), but given how suspect mechanics work I can only realistically take on 2 MAYBE 3 ships before I have no chance even with a blob of logi.
If you want fights in high-sec you have to either be much sneakier about your approach or not overkill as hard.
@CCP_Lebowski apologized then gave little window for discussion. It’s as if they have no intention of taking any feedback into account and just wanted to avoid as many questions as possible
Either way, as opposed to swinging e-peens I’d much rather us continue the discussion on why this change is one of the shittiest changes CCP has announced in a very long time.
I don’t do wardecs, I’m a suspect, thus this doesn’t solve any of my problems. This patch removes the ability for a suspect to have any allies. I guess my fleet can bring me cap boosters still right? It’s a ■■■■■■■ joke really.
