I am not the one who made (bad) economic based arguments. Reporting revenues is both dumb and misleading in that all that ISK is not available to the TTT to do with as they please. Further, there is this implication that it is a zero sum game which it is not.
âthere is alwasy a bigger fishâ Qui-Gon Jinn
If this is a permanent situation I agree with you, Amarr will flourish on itâs own. Itâs already the 2nd best market hub ingame, now can compete with Jita. Experienced traders can make a nice profit from this, if act quickly. It will certainly make this dull game a bit more interesting, it will be fun to see what will come out of this.
For sitting in the open? Yes.
Would you blame the owl for doing exactly what itâs nature is?
So we acknowledge that highsec is an irrelevant minority of EVE, and all of the doom and gloom about â95% OF PLAYERS DONT WANT PVP MAKE HIGHSEC PVE OR EVE WILL DIEâ is all nonsense?
The kybernauts are usually the outnumbered. The Imperium threw their weight behind us in Niarja only to meddle with their current enemies.
The strong dominate the weak, and it shall continue to be the case.
Obligatory G(rrrr)oonsâ˘
It doesnât route you through it if you have ââprefer saferââ set. Only sends me through Niarja if I have ââprefer shorterââ route chosen. So, autopilot settings work correctly.
In other words: You think that null sec is more important.
Some new forum dweeb hiding his profile and trying to put you down for your age is kind of ironic.
But it also doesnât mean that itâs a problem if/when the large coalitions smash a smaller group that is in their way.
Too bad, the game is sandbox with multiple playstyles, even ones you dislike.
That doesnât mean those undesirable play styles should be actively supported and protected by CCP.
It is when the reasons I disagree with it are legitimate.
The fact that so many players complain when CCP damages highsec playstyles shows that they are fairly desirable.
Hardly. Lots of players whining about something doesnât make them right or desirable from a game design point of view. At most it means that CCP might desire their F2P cash shop purchases, but milking the cash cow doesnât mean a lot.
And really, this whole argument is inherently contradictory. Youâre asking us to believe that:
- Risk-averse highsec PvE players are a significant group that anyone should care about.
and
- These players are too weak and few in number to oppose any meaningful threat.
You canât have it both ways, if there are really enough highsec players for them to deserve any consideration then they should be able to unify and fight off the threat to their space.
Autopilot set to Safer. You sure you donât have Niarja on your avoidance list?
How was Niarja in the way of the large 0.0 coalitions?
It existed, and they decided to smash it. Wrecking someoneâs stuff just for the fun of wrecking it is a proud tradition in EVE.
Thank you for your retraction.
Train into and purchase a JF or hire someone who moves freight for a living such as PushX. Why is this so difficult for people to wrap their heads around to avoid the 45 jumps or the system?
