Note quite, in looking at EVE Offline it ranges between 20,000 to 18,000 this time of day. The peak is 18:00-19:00 hours at around the 24-25,000 you note.

All you guys rage quitting…can I have your stuff?

Contract to me for zero. Oh, and pay the 10,000 will ya? Yer’ quitting and all so what’s the dif?

i even remember 50k+ when i did start playing.
but it was just overcrowded… who wants that? so its an improvement

But hey slight different playercounts right now dont tell a lot.
The little increse didnt happen yet… and even if it would, right now everyone who subbed can still play… and why they shouldnt… they already payed for it… keep paying is everyones own decision so lets see than.

as long as the jita scammers dont quit all is good… couldnt imageine jita local without them

Theres a very key element that you and those who argue like you need to recognize though.

Yes, inflation is a thing.
Yes, Costs around the world are going up for a LOT of things.
Yes, travel, utility, etc prices escalate.
Yes, Increasing prices in any given economic sector are NORMAL and TO BE EXPECTED.

But if you’re going to argue that ā€˜the increase goes toward development work…’, please also show me where CCP has improved the game in the past two years.
Yes, I’ll openly admit that there have been a -HANDFUL- of decent bug/fix upgrades. I’ll even admit that the last two patches have been fairly decent, positive patches that have been pushing the game in the right direction.

But here’s the key element to most of the ā€˜positive’ changes we’ve seen recently.

THEY WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN NEEDED OR CONSIDERED GOOD IF CCP HAD NOT CARPET BOMBED THE GAME FOR TWO YEARS STRAIGHT.

We aren’t talking about a developer going ā€˜well, inflation sucks, but hey, we need to keep working for you guys’. We’re talking about a developer that is saying 'Don’t worry, the game is in a good place, and we COULD keep the lights on just fine. but we just WASTED two years of our product development time on things that created THREE ingame RIOTS. If you want us to keep improving this game, Like and Subscribe, but this time for 33% more!"

I’m pretty sure I speak for a LOT of players when I say that if I’m faced with a choice between CCP ā€œContinuing to developā€ this game --In the way they’ve been doing for the past three years-- at a 33% premium markup or, Telling CCP to Keep their fat-fingered, greedy, meat sausage hands out of this sandbox, to STOP breaking things, and just keep the lights on so we can make our own content…
Yeah, I’ll take option two.

We’re talking about a company with a very rich recent history of mutilating EVERYTHING they look at. no, I’m not interested in paying them more money for a digital product just so they can break it even more.

TL;DR
IN PRINCIPLE, I get the inflation arguments.
IN PRACTICE, CCP gets an absolute vote of ZERO confidence. if this were a government rather than a digital product, the uprising would be leaving corpses behind.

No bread for the masses? LET THEM EAT CAKE!

Can’t unless they fail to raise it. Until then, there’s no harm inflicted, so no standing.

This is 100% spot on. This company has done absolutely NOTHING in a number of years to actually deserve my time and money. Sadly for me and fortunately for them I’ve continued to grit my teeth and press on because of friends I’ve made and that ā€œsunken cost fallacyā€.

My Omega will run out of 26 accounts at the end of May. CCP has to pull out all the stops to even have a remote chance of keeping me.

Netflix: OMG Why don’t people want to pay more for our service? It must be account sharing, not anything that changed in our content!!!

CCP: Hold my beer.

Shhhh! I’m living in denial here, ok!

Should I get the time again to play, sounds like a corp I would like to join. Should we all survive this world mess.

@Arrendis Glad to see you in good humor and out and about on the forums! I would like to hear your assessment of the future of the game after the ā€œbig announcementā€ at fanfest?

Unsubbed all accounts. The game is designed that to really do much of anything fun and significant you need multiple accounts. Too much for too little especially when you haven’t even fixed everything you broke in the past 2-3 years.

LMAO Just saw this Email I got from CCP, About the power of friendship, and an entire documentary about why I want to continue to play this game. Pathetic.

Depending on when it comes, I’m sure I’ll have plenty to say in a number of venues.

Goodbye 3 Omegas. It’s been fun and entertaining. But this is the last straw.

You are removing BRM and ending scarcity on that day?

Netflix has 220 million subscribers (first quarter 2022). They gained about 45 million in 2020-2021. Losing even a few million subscribers might upset the shareholders and stock prices, but I doubt the company is in any serious risk in the long term.

Are they raising subscription prices by 25-30 percent? Yes. But the company is promising new content and productions, and based on their track record I think confidence is good they will deliver.

Btw, a basic monthly subscription will be about 10 bucks. Premium 4K will be about 20 bucks. Still a pretty good value compared to what we used to pay Blockbuster. And we had to rewind
