I’m new player of this game and was curious if player are really ok with playing expensive subscription for a game that has all element of F2P game with Pay2Win (buing skill points - quick learning for money, Plex - better things for money, …)
I like the game, how it works and so on, but I’m causal player. It looks like limitation of Alpha its fine in the beginning, but I’m thinking if I want to pay in the future.
Paying for a good game, even full price (20 - 60€) is fine, but paying 20 / month seems too much, even with discount / year is still expensive.
Aiko and Zaera are thinking that asking is whining and are picking sentences from my post without context.
If this is how Eve community works, than I will better len this game go.
I know there are people addicted to this game and spending a lot of money for it and don’t care, but there are some they quitted.
Maybe letting this thread live is not a bad think, maybe devs will think about it, maybe not, if people are paying and player base is sufficient than is ok from the devs point of view.
It is always good to review the opinions after some time, after the first resistance to the change (which is mostly negative, as mine as a saw prices for omega).

I do have something to say. The game is FREE TO PLAY. So stop crying about the cost of a FREE game. It’s pathetic. Just play the game (or leave).
It’s F2P by the name, but it is more a demo.
There is a lot of limitation, but playable in the beginning.
This means if you want to play more and enjoy the full potential, you have to pay monthly fees.
What I wanted to know how people think about it, why are they paying, how they look at the pay2win aspect, why made they the decision to subscribe, what are the alternatives, …

Just to clarify.
I would like to see this alpha (F2P) with full unlimited skill tree.
It is ok, that learning takes 2x more time, it is ok if I can’t fly biggies ships, … lot of things is acceptable for F2P, but not if I can not choose my path, because I’m limited by skill points and skill tree.
I would propably buy some bundle to support the game, but not subscription as it is now.
It is obviously time consuming and I’m not sure if I want even start the journey.
(Just my opinion, not winning, not complaining - info for some members, they don’t want to understand the point)

What to say … do you understand the difference between whining and personal opinion? Or is it to much?
Anyway, reading between lines, Zaera and Aiko are true supporters. Unfortunately I don’t now why, but they obviously believe that everyone with different opinion has to be verbally insulted.
I read some reviews that the game is full of griefers and the community is toxic. On the other side I found great stories from the game.
I would like to read more interesting and positive info, than I already did from those two.

I want to say goodbye to this discussion.
I wanted to (re)start discussion about pricing, motivation, wishes, maybe future, but the original post is buried behind lots of fanboy trolling from Zaera and Aiko, so the hope for meaningful discussion is gone.
As I started to think about subscription, now I know, I don’t want it. It is a solution as well.
@Zaera_Keena, @Aiko_Danuja, kids, now you can start complaining and whining about complaining and whining … and don’t forget to add some lame gifs.
