They cut prices in a sense through frequent discounts, lol
A kiting frigate with no tank got in scram range of a frigate killing drone boat - brilliant.
You see, this is what happens when noobs are not pest controlled, they acquire more money than sense.
If Eve would get real planet landings w/ planetary exploration, mining, warfare like once Infinity has promised to become reality for over 10 years (but never did )… If CCP would come with such an expansion then at least you could justify a higher price like 60 eur/year.
But as it is… rather boring to see about nothing else but bots in null space… the game is loosing pace
Star Citizen
“If you are about to appear in killmail, you already failed as covops pilot.”
“Wisdom” aside, not everybody is for kill farming in this game.
Looking through the comments I guess you got your feedback.
Too bad they didn’t do anything with it.
What on earth are you on about?
How predictable…
Ee Gads, the amount of Low level Trolls in this thread.
I believe the subscription is to high. But it’s not gonna go back. For that to happen, we would all have to be united and Not Play The Game for a time.
And for that to happen, we have to be united, which will never happen.
Hell we can’t even have a civil discussion on this topic.
When will the weekend packs return?
Omega yes, when the game is finished.
Are we really still discussing this? The whole world is suffering from inflation, and CCP is affected by this like every one else… so at some point they had to raise the price. Simply get over it. In contrast to many other things in real life you have even options to compensate e.g. by dropping to Alfa or buying plex for ISK.
The thread is still open
Good thing too. Imagine the player numbers if EVE was still subscription-only
Yes, you are.
Meanwhile, our cost of living has increased as a result of inflation, meaning we are POORER and many can’t afford to spend more money on hobbies like EVE. Rather than sucking it up, taking pay cuts etc, CCP have passed the cost onto the customer, losing customers as a result.
Simply get over it.
I am not complaining about people stopping paying for Omega.
I am just annoyed by the „I want everything for free“ mentality. And yes I am aware that certain companies have created this mentality themselves. But these kind of business models are currently falling apart and everyone of us need to get used to the fact that IT services have a price and are at the end not for free and have never been for free (even though they made the impression because you either payed with your data or someone was burning money to get world domination in their niche, usually both.)
Think of Steam and their deals for up to 90%-off.
Wouldn’t you start to think that games generally are worthless after seeing such price-changes many times? Additionally, most if not all gamers don’t even think about inflation and/or the higher upkeep for several things.
That’s how games are perceived, especially after many companies went digital, away from boxes and manuals. I miss these days…
Talking about the price: People tend to act as if they were forced to pay the full price instead of waiting for offers.
Showing your age Grandpa
No grandpa yet, but I will become one exactly like you will.
So stfu
Aww, poor baby, something I said?
