Maybe Players like you slowly killed the game and stopped new players from getting into the game.
(Bad guy) (scamming).
EvE-online has always been a platform for people who enjoy actually harming other people. You are a good example.
And don’t come at me with “This is EvE”
You can now see where “This is EvE” has taken us over the years.

CCP Paragon’s answers on the Q&A are pretty convincing. They should have led with that.

Realization, I have been following this post today and it has made me realize something else about the game I kind of knew but refused to acknowledge . No one really plays this game these days anyways. I thought I was abusing the ‘system’ using 1 alpha account to scout for me. I see people with 4, 8 and 10 subs and realize if you start dividing the pathetic population by the average number of subs. I would bet there are not very many actual humans that actually made this thing happen for the past bit. I knew many of my own Corp members had 2-4 accounts each and then you read all day about how many people have and it becomes obvious that even the population numbers you see are greatly inflated. Again thanks for the laughs over the years.

The EVE community, Toxic as always.

If CCP had tied the Sub to inflation, we’d be paying almost $24 for a month’s sub right now. $15 in 2003 → 2022 | Inflation Calculator

This (the community freak out) is what you get when you coddle people for so long.

No one here is excited for the new update because we know it’s going to be a blanket of BS promises that will never be fulfilled EVER. Why would we care about more lies right out of the developers grimey little lisps?

I just realized what you are doing. You’re actively trying to agitate the community enough to finally kill eve. Genius! Best placed spy bin eve’s history. Well played Sir. o7.

I was already on the fence for my 5th accounts usability as it’s mostly for PI and your nerfing demand for PI in the latest siege green patch, but this increase just pushed the logic on that 5th account to probably not worth having.

no account is worth 20$ what this game has to offer literally isn’t worth 20 bucks. Entitled devs

“The new prices on Omega include all upcoming content releases for the game and have been structured to offer substantial savings when you purchase larger amounts of PLEX and Omega time.”

Well, all I can say is that you may have finally given me a very good reason to quit playing EVE. I have truly enjoyed EVE Online for the past 3 years but this 30% increase is an unwelcomed surprise and one who’s timing is really bad for so many of us who may be struggling as it is and yet have remained loyal subscribers. Whatever this new content is you will give us to somehow justify this substantial price hike, it had better be some of the best we’ve ever seen for EVE or else I’m done with it.

CCP Paragon said in his Q&A that they are working on plans to offer a big discount after the second account. Dunno what the details will be.

So the only way to remedy this that i can see at the very least is remove the plex limitations in fw so it is more open to different fleets wtc rather than limiting plexs to different ship classes. It is supposed to be war and yet it is at the same time an arena skirmish dressed up as a war.

Also more agent mission diversity rather than cycling the same 7 or 8, better “freebies” etc.

Remove the magic 14 and just make them default stat boosts, lower skill time a bit why the fk is it 22 days for a 2% stat increase etc. Im at 43mil sp and yet my skill queue is 1400 ajd something days. It needs streamlining

Otherwise you just made a second job cost more and alienated people like me who buy quite a lot of plex. Get real and streamline the game a bit so it is less stagnant.

Seriously it’s been how many years?
and what about the Sotiyos or fobs? weren’t we supposed to get some new faction caps?
(and I’m just gonna throw my own thing in here but like asteroid belts in null are ■■■■■■ like ccp just kinda forgot about npc null when they made the resource changes and now they’re just kinda a waste of processing power. like if you go into the great wildlands 75% or more of the systems are completely barren and unoccupied and it’s so ■■■■■■■ frustrating.)

just like they were working on plans for WiS

What part of world wide idiocracy inflation don’t you people understand. The price is going up for the first time in…uh…20 years. Ya think maybe the cost of payrolls, brick and mortar, lawyers, and data center operation haven’t shrunk the profits a bit?

And I think Alpha should have a {insert arbitrary number here} month limit, after which sub or not log in.

Bull crap! This game would have died years ago with even such an attempt because it hasn’t offered anything in years. You can play on chief. Their are those sad people still subbed to EQ1 too, but that doesn’t make it a relevant game to anyone except those poor soles trying to live in the past. Fly safe! I believe the saying was…

was less than two years ago they increased the price from ÂŁ9.99 to ÂŁ11.99 so do we expect a price increase every 1.5 years by 20-33% ?

Funny every other MMORPG managed to stay at 11-14,99 each month too for the last 20 years.

And most of them who are still alive get for the last 20 years every few month some new content.

even if you take a dlc every 3 years into account (30$ / 36= 0,83 for DLC per month) they are still cheaper even with putting way more effort/work into their game… and that works…

so pretty flat and obsolete excuse for CCP

Lol. “Respected”. Yeah, nothing about this screams “respected”. Or “capsuleers”, for that matter. “Dear paypigs” might be a more appropriate intro.

The great irony is that I got together with a bunch of members of my corp just last week. We looked at some recent changes by CCP, discussed matters, and decided we might consider coming back IF what we saw at Fanfest looked positive. We were even hopeful that you guys had amended your ways and started putting the customer, instead of your own wallets, first.

Then you raise the price well in excess of what the game is actually worth. Yeah, no thanks. Back to Avorion for us.
