No, time dilation has never been observed but has been theorized on paper. Saying the Universe has ‘rules’ is b.s. Rules are imposed by biological’s for the purpose of control.

In physics and relativity, time dilation is the difference in the elapsed time as measured by two clocks.
Therefore, time dilation is very inaccurate due to the fact that a clock on one planet would not be able to accurately measure time between another clock on a different planet for numerous reasons. The main reason is that environmental factors, gravity mostly, as well as environmental factors would affect the mechanics of a tick tock clock.
A mechanical tick tock on Jupiter would get torn to pieces long before any measure of time between the mechanical tick tock back on Earth was able to be taken. Therefore, time dilation between a mechanical tick tock on a gas giant and mechanical tick tock on Earth, would not be possible.
So basically, time dilation is a fancy term for elapsed time between two mechanical tick tocks. Nothing fancy there.

They have observed time dilation in many places. They confirmed it at the international space station (or maybe it was the space shuttle). They have also confirmed it in jet airliners that fly around the Earth. I bet they have observed it in a bunch of other places as well.

Nonsense, the definition of “rule” is: one of a set of explicit or understood regulations or principles governing conduct or procedure within a particular area of activity. Used in the context I am using it in rule describes a set of limits or parameters absolutely nothing to do with people trying to control as we can only be observers in this topic.
It’s apparent, so when a star reaches a mass threshold it collapses and forms a black hole. the mass threshold is a rule.
So the parameters of space-time determines how light will travel. If space time happens to be curved then light will follow that path, parameter might be a better word than rule.
By following these rules or parameters we can predict how light will travel based upon the mass of the gravity imposing object. We are just using apparent rules to determine what will happen in a given scenario.
As we understand it a black hole has infinite mass, so we can understand that time must be very distorted close to a black hole.
Everyone understands this, however we understand the level of gravity force jupiter imposes so we are able to theorise precisely how a clock would tick on jupiter IF it were possible.

Time is never experienced faster or slower, time remains the same regardless of how you personally experience it. I have heard people say many times that “This day is dragging on or time went by so fast today.”
Semantics, because no matter how fast or slow the person perceives time to be flowing, time flows exactly the same for everyone in the same frame regardless of how the person is experiencing said time.
Just because a person’s watch reads 12:30 and another person’s watch reads 12:31, does not mean both people exist in the past or the future, but in reality, both people have sh*t watches that are below par in telling time, which is due to poor manufacturing processes or weak batteries.

It is kind of funny. I feel like the physics books make gravity and time/space and relativity all more complicated than they need to be. The special relativity equation is as simple as can be, but the textbooks are so wrapped up in “spaceman fly somewhere and come back young” that they fail to explain it simply.
But having read this thread, reading how convoluted people’s interpretations are, I suppose I have to give the textbooks credit for not getting so carried away.

Definitely language is not the medium that expresses fully and clearly what is going on in the world.
World expresses fully by itself. Human senses are only receiving and then mind interpreting some of the signals, then they are processed within confines of obtuse human mind, where even most intelligent person falls to a trappings of its own brainy matter, evolved biases, shortcomings of adaptation to hunting pray for food and procreating for fun and survival of the genes.

Is there life elsewhere in the Universe? Yes.
Math and Physics cannot prove or disprove life existing in the Universe. Math and physics are only able to observe the Universe and measure reactions taking place. A mathmatical or physics concept is only a positive, meaning correct, when the result can be produced many times with the exact same result.
The consciousness and subconscious are part of life. The subconscious is a regulatory system that keeps the body alive while the body goes into a state of repair and regeneration. The consciousness is the body fully awake and performing tasks.
The subconscious state can be likened to Primordial Space, a reduced amount of energy being conserved while Einstein Space, the Universe, can be likened to the body being awake and active. Primordial Space might not require much energy nor creates much output unlike Einstein Space that requires a lot of energy and creates a lot of energy output.
Humans are not the only life in the Big U.
