Dispelling The Hype Over Alien Life

Alien contact… while we would still be in our current state of development, with technology on current level, we would be probably destroyed like ants if very agressive aliens come our way that want this planet for their own. They wouldnt even use death rays, just what Wells wrote in The War of the Worlds, microbes or even nanomachines in containers launched to the earth and dispersed in atmosphere, and they would change this world to their liking.

Overwhelming… If eradication of human civilization, humans, and whole planet changed so we cant even breathe without getting our lungs liquified, if that is not overwhelming, I dont know what is.

Maybe they dont need all we have. Maybe they want only our death, maybe that is the entertainment for them, we as some low life forms from another planet, maybe our existence and our form offends them, maybe we are flawed as civilization and they know something, or think something we dont, that makes us their enemies, and they will put us out of our misery. Maybe that would be better for the universe. :face_with_peeking_eye:

There isnt really much to do when massively overmatched. We would just lay down and wait for death.

I think it would be fun to imagine aliens landing on Earth that are much dumber than we are. Some smart guy back on their home planet built the spaceship and sent them out to look around.

Sounds familiar.

When I was younger, maybe three or four years old, my mother and her friend encountered what they called a UFO on a Friday night. I was in the back seat and can remember seeing the underside of the UFO as it passed over the car. There were six light like circles surrounding a larger central circle. The light really wasn’t bright but maybe dim, gull colored light.

People who have never witnessed a UFO often times try to discount UFO’s as being real. It’s called the “Why are other people important enough to see UFO’s but not me?”

The areas where UFO’s are mostly witnessed at must hold some deep seeded value, maybe a UFO crashed in the location in the past and the aliens return every now and then to see if the site is being excavated. Or perhaps an even simpler explanation exists, the aliens want humans witnessing the UFO event to look up, above the UFO’s locations, at a cosmic event taking place.

An invading alien species wouldn’t simply drop off in orbit and deploy ships and pummel the Earth, unless the aliens were Borg like. Destroying large regions of Earth would make the vital resources the aliens had come for, too costly to reprocess.

Think about it, how much effort and resources would the aliens have to use to reprocess a thousand completely destroyed human cities, versus gassing the entire planet and killing humans using a directed nerve agent designed just to kill humans?

Humans would be dead; animals could be cultivated for food while buildings were stripped of their metals and water taken from every source the aliens could find.

An invading alien force would definitely use a directed nerve agent to kill all humans after their scouts watched thousands of hours of Sci-Fi and war related combat relating to Earth’s history.

A government project.

Why would aliens come all the way to Earth to steal our water when its components are among the most common elements in the universe ?

Because they want to fight against Will “the slap” Smith

If you’re a nomadic alien species that roams space instead of remaining planetary, your first course would be to find a planet, such as Earth, that already has water in its final form.

Governor’s response

Wikinews has related news:

Shortly after the 1997 incident, Arizona Governor Fife Symington III held a press conference, joking that “they found who was responsible” and revealing an aide dressed in an alien costume. Later in 2007, Symington reportedly told a UFO investigator he’d had a personal close encounter with an alien spacecraft but remained silent “because he didn’t want to panic the populace”. According to Symington, “I’m a pilot and I know just about every machine that flies. It was bigger than anything that I’ve ever seen. It remains a great mystery. Other people saw it, responsible people,” Symington said Thursday. “I don’t know why people would ridicule it”.

Earth has a natural process for creating fresh water which has been happening for millions of years.

If you are convinced that they belong to aliens, then you shouldn’t call them UFOs - because they wouldn’t be unidentified any more.

There’s water all over the frikin place. There’s probably twice as much water in the oceans of Europa as in all the oceans of Earth. Ganymede and Calisto likely have water oceans too. 300 mile wide Enceladus is nothing but water ice. And water exists in interstellar space…by the bucket load. In fact…

“Two teams of astronomers have discovered the largest and farthest reservoir of water ever detected in the universe. The water, equivalent to 140 trillion times all the water in the world’s ocean, surrounds a huge, feeding black hole, called a quasar, more than 12 billion light-years away…”

So why would anyone need to invade Earth to get water ?

They have to invade Earth to impress the alien women.

They would still be unidentified. Just because we would know it isn’t from this planet doesn’t mean it’s identified.
Any aircraft that flies over a nation’s airspace is required to have an identifier a flight number, its provenance, its destination, company/owner of the aircraft, if it’s Airforce or Marine… Until those identifiers are known the craft is considered ‘unidentified’.

Or they may destroy humanity to protect their alien women.

Those rule 34 videos, they are the reason why interstellar war happens.

A nomadic alien species would never approach a black hole to collect water, to dangerous.

I somewhat agree here, a planet or moon with a cache of water, or even better a planet that uses the atmosphere and mountains to processes the water into drinkable water would be more valuable than collecting water from space.

There is actually a explanation for what UFO’s are. it’s just a shame that we have no idea what that explanation is.

Many of them (UFO’s) are actually powerful light beams being shined from the ground in a pattern.

The black hole is irrelevant…the point is that it demonstrates water is everywhere. Nobody needs to come to Earth to steal ours.
