It’s gonna float about as well as the scientific hypothesis of dejà vu being a mess up between adding information to short term memory and simultanously triggering the signals of something being a memory being remembered. The brain has many complex ways to f-up…
Like, mistaking a uncommon reflexion in the inside of your jet fighter’s canopy for an actual object outside with undetermined size, velocity and range, which can never be filmed nor recorded unless you’re using your worst potato camera after it being crushed under a truck.
Dispelling the myth that what is alien to many is known to a few by suggesting that the scientific hypothesis of dejà vu is the result of a mind that is trying to envolve and perhaps it is parts of the memory that are alien as the thoughts are mixed up with the known memory recall.
Deja Vu could actually be memories that are tied in with traits associated with subconsciousness and consciousness that are triggers to start certain processes at the moment the brain of the fetus while in the womb begins to take over the living processes of the body from the mother. Memories that are stored within the DNA that are passed from the mother and father into the human offspring. Just like the physiological traits of a person are passed onto the offspring from the parents, so could anciently patterns of memories associated with humans not being from Earth that come in the form of nightmares or images we don’t recognize but have been programmed to fear by those who do not want us to believe that demonic like dreams could actually be dreams from the place where humans originally came from.
The reason I believe that humans don’t come from Earth is rather simple. If you look at all of the animals on Earth, snakes, cats, bees, turtles, lions, birds and other animals, all of them have the ability to defend and fend for themselves at a very early age, some are ready to go almost right out of the womb. Human’s, however, take at least 15 years to fully develop the ability to fend and defend ourselves. The very first human infant, male and female, would not have been able to survive on Earth for very long. So did the first humans come to Earth as full-grown adults and then conceive children? Or did humans evolve and progress in a very secure location on Earth where the animals were not able to reach and thus consume early human infants?
A one-year-old lion is more than capable of defending and fending for itself compared to a one-year-old human infant.
Gosh, no, you’ve made something complicated and un-necessary out of the true simple explanation. Which is that humans are born with under-developed brains because anything larger would not be able to be born. It is as simple as that. On top of that, our complex brains are wired for social activity…which has to be learned. We evolved from social primates who looked after their young…just as modern day chimps do. There’s zero need to postulate alien origins…and why would any alien origin planet be any less hostile anyway.
One factor not being added into the drake equation is the angle that it is possible life was unable to evolve in the Universe until our generation of stars came into being.
The sun is a Population 1 star.
What that means is two previous generations of stars existed before ours.
Population 3, the earliest and first stars in the universe were comprised of mostly hydrogen and helium, which some of those stars went supernova, and in a hydrogen/helium supernova, heavier elements are formed from the forces (and also from stellar fusion when the star was burning). Then those newly created heavier element materials eventually collapse down from gravity igniting a new star, population 2.
The Population 2 stars then have some of those stars go supernova, and the result of a supernova with not just hydrogen and helium, but now containing many newly created heavier elements (also from the process of stellar fusion) from the population 2 star going supernova which in turn creates many other newer heavier elements in what our star is, a population 1 star. Our star formed from the supernova of many previous stars. A combination of all of their elemental building blocks.
That takes a lot of time, like as if EvE dropped a F R E S H server for players who wanted to all start on a clean server not polluted by “the olds”. First you need to mine Veldspar asteroids, then refine that into Tritanium, then use that to build better ships and better mining lasers to mine tougher rocks, and then refine that ore, then tech 2, then tech 3…well you get the point.
It gets even more time consuming now, and our Drake missile boat equation odds of life formation/abiogenesis time window shortens and closes as many of these elements are not even to be found in a population 1 star going supernova, but in population 1 neutron star collapsing into it’s binary partner neutron star or a black hole, creating what is known as a KiloNova event.
We can make a rough calculation of the ratio of detectable/observable neutron stars compared to other stars, then the ratio of neutron stars that are in a binary system not with a regular star, but with a second (or third) neutron star or a black hole, and if the black hole was too large it would just gobble up the neutron star. Keep in mind that a neutron star is a super giant population 1 star that went supernova, but was such a large star that when it collapsed back down it collapsed past the point of being a white dwarf due to the gravitational mass. It has to be the right amount, too much mass and it forms a black hole…too little, a white dwarf. It has to be baby bear goldilocks just the right amount of stellar mass.
Many of the more rare heavy elements on Earth and in the galaxy are believed to be created from these Kilonova events. It is possible life had no window for abiogenesis dice rolls to occur yet until the raw materials required for such things, in however many ways and environments they are possible, until recently.
Perhaps the first 10-12 billion years of the Universe might have just spent on building these resources, we know life is complex and uses a vast variety of elements for higher intelligence.
Then again, even a single life form that lived long enough to develop A.I. should theoretically be progressing towards being a Type 3 civilization and have no fear of any type of threat from anything in the Universe, be able to harness the energy of an entire galaxy well past type 2 dyson sphere tech, and would have no reason not to leave gigantic galacticly visible indicators in place.
We went from the invention of flight, to computers and space flight in less than 100 years. The more tech you have, the more tech it unlocks and snowballs. I mean, look at me, a moron solving the questions of the universe utilizing a video game message board and Wikipedia. Pretty cool huh?
My theory, and this is a good one, is that space travel is positional time travel. What that means is that the speed of light locks travel speed to a maximum of information flow, but it can be cheated by positioning yourself in a single spot in space, and traveling backwards and forwards in time, and watching the position of planets and star change around you as the stars, solar systems, even entire galaxies and galactic groups, move around you.
You would be in the exact same position in space, but going backwards through time, another star would come closer to your position, and others farther away. Then you gravitationaly attach yourself to one of it’s orbital bodies, move forward in time, star and planet moves, gets to a new location, detach from the gravity well, traverse time again in whichever direction brings a stellar mass towards you…anyway you get the idea. Sounds crazy, but it’s what those goofy saucer boiz are doing. They hacked time, not speed.
Kind of like Jump gates, a star might be right next to you, but the gates force you to make 25 jumps around to get to it.
I agree. Far from there being long lost civilisations a long time ago in a galaxy far away, we may well be the first and we are the civilisation a long time ago in a galaxy far away…for lots of future civilisations.
Now they cut the belly open and take out the child, then close the belly. Cesarean.
I wonder how in long run would that affect the brain size, if people will do mostly this kind of techno-births.
We could argue that all “alien” life could come in future from earth and resemble humans, like its now in sci fi series. Only we would have to go everywhere and be first. After some time these people could rediscover themselves. In that scenario we would be forming intergallactic community present for millions of years of time, and some would lose contact with the rest.
For example in The Metabarons series humans can look really different from each other, they inhabit many planets and some have been going back to the low-technology based culture.
Micropsic remnants of what could be an extraterrestrial object that crashed into the Pacific Ocean nearly a decade ago were recovered by a team of scientists.
In total, 50 microscopic spherules that look like specs of dust and weigh a collective 35 milligrams were collected during a “historic” expedition off the coast of Papua New Guinea, said Harvard Professor Avi Loeb, who discovered a “runaway fireball” in 2014 that exploded in Earth’s lower atmosphere before falling into the water.
The object — labeled “IM1” — “is actually tougher and has material strength that is higher than all the space rocks that were cut along by NASA,” Loeb told Fox News Digital in an exclusive video interview from the expedition boat. "That makes it quite unusual.
“Given IM1’s high speed and anomalous material strength, its source must have been a natural environment different from the solar system, or an extraterrestrial technological civilization.”
Anyone who discounts the reality of life, similar to life on Earth, existing on other planets is a coward who hides behind myths and teddy bears, scared of the alien life from another planet. Humans dominate Earth.
Humans accept the aspect of domination on Earth, just like the ancient Romans and Greeks, dominance boils in the blood of humanity. To cower away from the unknown of space, its aliens by employing, paper rules of the ink of many, numbers and paper cuts are their swords and spears. It is a human disgrace to not accept the fate there being aliens in this universe other than ourselves. A disgrace to not want to challenge an alien species for dominance. Even the flowers on Earth live for the day of dominating an alien planets flowers, to spread the seed of Earth.
What a load of sanctimonious baloney. Science is about empirical evidence…not about your own personal biases. You have about as much actual evidence for alien life as there is for unicorns or Santa Claus. SETI has thus far turned up absolutely nothing. Not a hint that there is anyone else out there. I go with the empirical evidence, or lack of it, not what some utterly biased person says on some forum.
All you are doing is showing off that you haven’t a clue about the actual scientific method.
The scientific method? Is that where you engage in several years of unpaid servitude under a charismatic leader? Then you try to get something published in a journal that pretty much only accepts stuff from either famous researchers or from people who agree with the consensus? Then, if you are really lucky and get something published, you can try to get some funding from somebody who wants you to prove something that is politically useful to them? Then if you fail to come up with the results that they want, you had better have the good sense to not publish anything?
And what empirical evidence DO YOU have that proves, without a doubt, there is no life in the Universe other than Earth? The lack of evidence as you call it, is not proof of life not existing elsewhere in the Universe. Basically, you want everyone to give up on the Search for Life in the Universe and adhere to your illogical methodology of thinking. Thinking that is akin to false beliefs that science has already proven everything, and that the Earth is the center of all, Wanna talk about absurd.
The search for life in the Universe exists along the same axis of the atom.
Around 450 B.C., the Greek philosopher Democritus introduced the idea of the atom. However, the idea was essentially forgotten for more than 2000 years. In 1800, John Dalton re-introduced the atom. He provided evidence for atoms and developed atomic theory.
Just because the atom wasn’t proven to exist until 2,000 years later, the fact is, atoms did in fact exist back then, did or did they not?
I have proven that humans could not have come from Earth based on the time it takes a human being to reach a stage of development where the human is able to defend itself without an adult being around.
Of all the species on Earth, humans take the longest to mature, at least 15 years compared to lions, sharks, whales, honeybees, ants, cats and dogs, and even some species of plants and trees develop defensive systems faster than humans.
If humans came from apes, then humans would not have evolved to take 15 years to develop defensive skills and attributes. Humans would have retained the ape like attributes of rapidly growing in order to defend ourselves. Humans would not have survived a pre-historic era without first having the skills to survive for 15 years. Granted, very old bones of humans have been discovered but where did those humans come from? Definitely not the ape.
Explain why humans take so long to grow into being able to defend ourselves when 90% of the life on Earth takes less than two years to be fully able to defend itself. If humans had come from apes, humans would have carried the DNA trait of being able to grow very rapidly in order to defend ourselves in a very hostile environment.
Do you know why you are trying to ‘dispel’ the hyper over alien life?
Because you fear any life from the outside of the Earth, because the discovery of life outside of Earth would completely change the religious structure of Earth, entirely. No longer would humans have the need for nailing a person to a cross for salvation, no one need Islam or Hindu, but instead, most would look up and ask, 'Does your belief take me away from the nonsense and semantic and rhetorical based religious institutions of Earth? I’m certain that’s why you despise the search for alien life. You would no longer be in control of a reality that is false to begin with while the reality of something bigger than your own beliefs sat right in front of you.
Altara, please explain the process that is involved in life being created on Earth and then explain why that same process could possibly not take place in the rest of the Universe.
This is as official as disclosure gets for now(alongside with that Israeli general/professor/head of space programme I posted the wiki page earlier):
The reason we haven’t been “attacked”(such a strong word) yet is because we are being protected by ETs from the other, malicious intented ones. Just like we protect the Uncontacted Tribes on our planet.
Objectivism and curiosity are what drives the original scientific method. Not skepticism and apathy.
Well, there is a false analogy with how our own private experience is that of being cared for by things our brain can’t comprehend, thus we feel inclined to believe that this holds true even when we are adults and have a better grasp on our surroundings.
A superior force dropped milk in our mouth when we didn’t new anything else than how to suck a nipple, so, why shall not an equally superior force rule what we can’t control or understand?
Easy answer: where’s the nipple and the superior force to a turtle just hatched under half a meter of sand, struggling for an hour to reach the surface and then picked and devoured by a seabird? Are we so darn special we got some Divine Force just for ourselves…?
Sigh. You really don’t understand science do you. The scientific burden of proof is ALWAYS on the person claiming any phenomenon exists. The other side don’t have to ‘prove’ anything as the scientific default is that the phenomenon does not exist.
If someone claims that unicorns are real, it is 100% up to them to provide evidence for that claim. Scientists do not have to prove that unicorns don’t exist, as the scientific default is that they don’t. Sheesh…this is stuff that even someone with a kindergarten level of science grasps…so why don’t you ?
What a load of utter baloney…to cover your own abysmal lack of scientific understanding.
Both yes and no. According to the documentaries on the History Channel and UFOlogists, when we were mere monkeys we were genetically modified by the Anunnaki to evolve in a way to be able to mine gold for them. They eventually realized (I wonder how many thousand years and/or by which ET faction’s suggestion?) that what they did was unfair and left the planet Earth for good after teaching the Sumerians some civilization and skills, such as writing and (perhaps advanced) agriculture.
Purportedly, ever since then they had a hands off policy for thousands of years until December 21, 2012 when it comes to interacting with Earth. The reason for this was (again purportedly) to allow the mankind to evolve and civilize on their own until they’re capable of making their own decisions with the technology they possess. The possibility and even the probability of a Galactic Federation or a governing body similar that are made of humanoid races(just like Earth’s United Nations or Roddenberry’s United Federation of Planets) and have made the decision to protect us and see us becoming the member of it is what I deduce. The E.T.s most probably don’t want to seen as saviours of mankind or Gods in their Chariots anymore(see what I did there?). The reason for this is almost certainly that people don’t realize that Human race possess their own Godlike power in shaping the life/world as wished.
It is now up to us to accelerate or decelerate the process depending on how fast we agree on certain things as a collective(things like destroying our planet is not ok or each day there are people dying of hunger).
Science has already proven that Earth was a ball of very hot molten metal at one time, too hot support any life at all. During the cooling of the Earth, due to the spin of the Earth + impacts from icy comets, life slowly came to Earth. But from where Altara? The phenomenon of the ingredients of life, fused together in deep space and sent across the Universe in many forms, surely didn’t just impact Earth.
Do you deny the validity of the proven statement above?
Nope, the person avoiding things is you. All I see is a classic case of Dunning Kruger where you think you grasp vastly more than you actually do. Your prior statements make it very obvious you haven’t a clue how science actually works. And it is irksome responding to rather clueless word salad that doesn’t actually mean anything, and to your arrogant assumption that your beliefs constitute science. Proper science is about evidence.
