I consider that EVE population is declining and I think the reason is that CCP has a culture of stinginess, they are so cheap!!!
Let me point it out:
- new characters start with 370k sp in a game that you have around 400 milion sp
- alpha characters capped at 5 milion sp, this should be at least 15 milion sp
- attribute points is a waste of our time, all attributes should be sett o 40 and there should be no remapping
- we can’t save the modules layout as we please in the fitting window and on the shortcuts bar, every alt you have to manually fix everything the way you like… imagine if you are a muliboxer playig pvp burning ships one after the other
- multifit only 30 ships at a time, this is pure pain
- UI tied to the tick system, certain windows are painful to use like the Industry and Market
- search boxes are horrible, they keep spamming refresh while we type every character and all windows keep stuttering, I would rather let people type what they want and then click a search button or type ENTER to start the search
- when you trade a ship between your alts the hotkeys get reset and you have to setup everything again
- skill injectors are capped too much, you should be able to get 500k sp up to 50 milions, 400k up tp 100 milions, 300k up to 150 milions and so on
- recruit a friend for the 1 milion sp is a waste of everybody’s time, every alt should start with 5 milion sp regardless, all three alts of the same account should all start with 5 milion sp each
What CCP likes doing is spreading misery, people feel miserable and then they quit, specially the new players

Well if at least they can buy the daily alpha injectors that comes with 110 plex (great deal btw)
Some of our pilots envy that ability to inject just 50k skill points.

And it just cost them thousands of players after they removed daily log-in rewards, nerfed more stuff all over the place and implemented the SkinR so greedily that it’s practically a game store of its own.
That has to be the truest statement in this whole forum.

Nah…it’s just a bunch of whiny nonsense.
Not only are Alphas on 5m SP already getting more than they actually pay for, but you’d be surprised how much you can do on 5m SP if you assign skills correctly. All my Alphas can fly the exact same 950 DPS Gnosis my Omegas fly…no re-fit required at all. The only difference being that for the Alphas the DPS ‘only’ gets to 800. So, an Alpha can be flying about in an 800 DPS battlecruiser without paying any subscription. What’s to whine about ?
The rest of the gripes are just whiny things where people need to HTFU. The game is not supposed to be easy. But its no harder for you than it is for anyone else, and the game is all about making the extra effort to gain an advantage rather than whining.
Sure, some things take an exasperatingly long time. But, that time is precisely what is leaving everyone else behind who has not made the effort. If you don’t understand that then you’re in the wrong game.

Don’t forget the +1 mil free unallocated SPs for using a referral link which can also be applied retroactively.
If they use it immediately it can kickstart their career if they use it after training the 5 mil it can push them beyond the base alpha limit to 6 mil total without having to sub or PLEX (which otherwise they need in order to train into the 20 mil expanded alpha limit).
