Hilmar living in GB now sees some results (where is the new game btw?). Only thing I can see from this one is more instances ā¦ sigh.
For the general idea ā¦ actually Iām open for crossovers, as Iām not sold in the lore of EvE, and a bit of advertising in the right target group can help.
However I have zero faith in the capabilities of CCP to deliver a quality event, EvE players maybe forgiving, others will be certainly not.

im just going to repost my reddit comment as I find myself in shock still on how bad of an idea this is:
āwhy though? sure they are both science fiction but the concepts are not remotely related and thus I doubt new players will be attracted in this manner. me thinks the current capsuleer population will also have a āwthā reaction. So how is it beneficial to anyone to put eve resources into this?ā

I think it fits more than anything else. when I started playing EVE I watched the Dr Who episodes while doing missions or mining just in the beginning. I think if anyone could ever visit New Eden from all the other franchises, it would be Dr Who.
