Does Eve have an "over-fishing" problem?

I know this mindset exists but In my years of playing I never met/ have flown with someone who actually disliked ratters/ miners/ mission runners etc. (except bots, all hate bots). Yes some l33t pvp people look down at those who only do pve, but it’s more of an “they are inferior/ our prey” thing rather than “I don’t want you to do this/ I dislike you” thing.

Most know that in an economy simulator without people who focus on pve (materials, faction mods, bpc’s, implants source) and industry they wouldn’t have a ship to fly…

What do you mean with ‘pve is shunned upon’? Where I play lots of people are doing pve and it is encouraged to do so as it has many benefits such as keeping ADMs up and keeping player/corporation wallets full.

I even approve of my enemies doing pve in space and I wish they would do more pve in space so I can shoot them even more. Space without people to shoot is boring.

One of the first things you’ll learn as a hunter is that while you fish, you’re also a fish, and there’s always a bigger fish.
